First things first requirement will keep changing as per the scape
As per my experience …sand requirement can be calculated as 3 to 4 kg per square feet…like if tank base is 36 X 18 then sand requirement will be 3 x 4.5 sqr feet or 4 x4.5 sqr feet
3kg will give you enough base but 4kg will have good height of base sand
Stones requirement will always be as per scape and size and density of the stones
