Chuck E. Cheese Amherst, NY Store Tour!

- This a tour of the Chuck E. Cheese in Amherst, New York I filmed back in August 2019. Amherst is a nice spacious store in upstate New York just 30 mins from Niagara Falls. They opened in June 1993 as Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza with a 1-Stage. The store remained unremodeled for many years until they got Phase 5 early a few months after Rochester, another upstate NY store, in Late 2013. They looked really cool unremodeled and it's a shame I couldn't see it in person. It's also a shame that unfortunately during my brief visit to this store, I never got to see the show in action and I only saw the bots in random mode. I stopped by here during my Summer Vacation trip to Niagara Falls and it was 20 mins before closing. Shortly after I filmed this store tour while I was waiting for the next song to come on, they shut off the show for the night so that sucked but they didn't know I was waiting for it. I had to get back on the road anyway and the next song was like 3 or 4 skits away so it wouldn't really be worth it. I'm glad I at least filmed this store tour. Funny story, I didn't include it in the video but in the middle of filming a guy who I assume was a manager or something asked me out of curiosity why I was filming. I told him and another person who was in fact a manager I'm a CEC UA-camr and I film animatronics at CEC's I visit. And I think they were quite intrigued (lmao). But I thought that was cool and at the end they were like well thanks for filming our show. They were really nice here. It sucks that there was that whole thing with fights happening at this location (there was two and the second one was minor) but at least now they are back on track. I don't think I'll ever come back here bc I live 6 hours away lol. But if for whatever reason I'm in the area I will definitely visit and try to catch the show in action this time.
The two songs used in this video are "I'm So Excited" from You're A Star (September 1993 Show) and "Shining Star" from the September 2002 Show. I used I'm so excited bc that was one of the first songs this store played when it opened back in 1993. I gotta be honest I'm pretty happy about how this video turned out. I worked hard but I think everything worked out and this is one of the few times a video I edited turned out exactly how I wanted it to and I'm happy about that 😊. I know you might not care but I just thought I'd say it bc I really liked this video

RIP Amherst, NY. They finally closed permanently on June 25, 2020. They had a nice show and great staff and it will be missed. Thank you and be well.

I know I’m late but this was my local Chuck E. Cheese and I never liked it as much as the other location here because the other location had the fun house which got removed but if I knew I would’ve been happy we had this location here
It truly sucks this place closed. I used to go here when I was little all the time 😔
