I'll be honest, this game would've been a little more enjoyable if you got to see Magolor outside the ship, maybe helping the characters out like Waddle Dee and Adeline from _Kirby 64._

That doesnt make sense though. I haven't played dreamland in awhile, but Magolor gets you to fix his ship and fight the dragon to use both to destroy popstar, right? Why would he help you?

He's not helping you stop him. He would be helping you stay strong as you look for Lor Starcutter parts and venture through Landia's volcano. It would also explain how he suddenly appears after you beat Landia.
