It feels like such a loss that a game like this will end and simply vanish. I can still put my 1980s NES Final Fantasy in a system and play it exactly as it was then, but FFBE will go away never to return or be revisited aside from videos like yours. Moment of Recall has always struck me as one of the most melancholy FF themes, almost like a song about nostalgia, and it's never felt more appropriate. Thank you Sinzar for all your hard work on these videos. Thank you FFBE for all the fun times.

Thanks for all your videos, you and all the other content creators on youtube, twitch, reddit, and sites like ffbeequip made the game so much more enjoyable over the years.
I mean, a part of the issue certainly were their crypto ventures as well as the collabs with (semi-)famous people as those certainly weren't free and most players just don't care about these "celebrities". Of course there were many other questionable and downright bad decisions which made players no longer want to spend money, like increased prices, skipped content, cheaters in the rankings making it hard to see what your actual ranking would be, many choices that were not player-friendly like increase of pity, units suddenly needing to be mostly +3 to even do things like CoW or get significant damage bonuses (which is a far cry from the last year or so of the 7* era where you could guarantee a full unit with roughly 27k), and so on. I feel most of the reasons boil down to bad decisions being made which lowered interest to even buy things as it became more p2w with terrible rates and no pool reductions. Add to that that more and more games came out in the past few years which showed that a f2p model can work while still making tons of money. It didn't help the the game to say the least. And I'm going to be honest, despite all my complaints, I loved the game, put money into it to support it (albeit not "whale" amounts), and I made a lot of friends through it as well. It is just a shame that the decisions they made ended up driving people away, not just f2p people, because honestly speaking, I felt like FFBE could have made it longer with its interesting gameplay and style if not for that. I also feel WotV caused more issues than it solved because after its release, FFBE felt... different. Like the devs were not increased to work on both games but rather split. It's honestly just a feeling without concrete proof but another decline certainly happened afterward. Like too many resources went to WotV despite many FFBE players not liking it's blatant p2w nature and the grinding. Plus the entirely different playstyle and messy story which introduced like 30 characters in the first chapter alone or so. I did expect the EoS, though a part was kinda hoping they'd at least finish S4. I'm glad that you put out the summary and that they will also upload it in video form but I would have liked the actual experience, especially since it could have been a good and cleaner send-off. Especially after they still added new boss fights and are planning to release it anyway. The notice felt kinda ad-hoc after you could still buy the august pass for another 7 days but eh. It's another end of an era for sure. I'm not certain I'll pick up another gacha game for a bit and I will miss the gameplay. I always felt like FFBE would have made a decent offline version, too where some changes to gacha and friend units are made as it has a nice, complex gameplay system and overall decent plot, plus tons of challenges, but I doubt it will ever get such a port for some bucks to buy permanently as no other FF spin-off got that either and it would still require some investment. It's a shame but I will try to finish the last few trials and maybe take some screenshots as memories, view some favorite scenes in the book of recollection, etc. I'd certainly like to hear what your plans after FFBE GL will be, even if JP is still on-going. If you'll focus on another game, just do JP for now or if there's something else. Thanks already for all the guides and consistent coverage of the game! I'm certain that a lot more players would have left and the notice would have come even earlier if you had decided to quit at any point because your spot in the community was certainly indispensable and I think Gumi knows that as well.
I think the real problem, the one that really killed the game was CoW:Another. It was an idea they were planning at least from the previous anniversary, and when it finally arrived it sucked, now suddenly you just didn't need the new Glex unit of that clash but the JP units that were literally dead weight in the fight, and if you didn't have the newest one you couldn't activate Mania mode on time to kill the boss. This was clearly their idea to survive the NV+ era, we could see this as Wilhelm still had the abilities for the Mania mode, but all was for naught, if they hadn't released that awful mode I doubt things would have gone this bad, and now after so many months of nothing they release new SBB and a boss for the CoV. So many surveys and that couldn't save the game after we said many times we wanted CoV to return, and more trials to come, but they were so blind and went ahead with that awful idea. But well, here we are, nothing can be done to change things, let's just enjoy what little time we have, and take as many memories we can with us.
The greed drunk corporation always tries to get more for less until they drive away all the players. It happens with all these scam games. It’s sad this is the state of gaming. Function for greed and if someone has fun then that’s a side benefit.
I will miss the game, but more the community around it... found some great friends along the way and hope to everyone that he finds a replacement or a new game to be keen about
as sad as it is, it almost felt like the game started to die once Shaly passed. RIP to her, and of course thank you Sinzar for your knowledge and understanding of the game over the years, it really helped build the community
I haven't played in about 18months. Still kept up a little with your channel. It's a shame it's going. I hope Sinzar will pivot this channel into a new game or hobby.
I'm an 8-year veteran and 37 years old and yet here I am depressed like a wimpy little bitch. I really love anything Final Fantasy and I really hope something comes out later that I can love as much as this. They did it so dirty for the last few months it was like a slow kill.
Dang! I was just back to this game about past two months. Back and forth, i still remember using the first higher 5star atc is about 900 when this game is coming.
It's weird to part with something that has been a part of my life for so long, but I'm also kinda glad it's over. It wasn't a COMPLETE, 120% dumpster fire yet, but it was also far from what should be considered its glory days, so you know ... quit while you're ahead and so on. What honestly surprised me the most is that the game has been around for as long as it has been as 8 years is quite a long time for a mobile game in my opinion. I haven't played any others besides BE during its time, but I remembe at least 2 or 3 others who went off the grid way before BE. Edit: Huh and here I thought "Wouldn't it be nice if they just gave away basically every unit at +3 for 1 lapis or something, just to give spoil everyone for 2 months" and then they you bring it up.
The end of an era... I remember starting this game back in 2018 and playing fairly consistently over the years and especially following your guides and getting excited to use new units from games of the series that I loved like FFX etc... This game meant quite a lot to me for as long as I played it. All in all, thank you so much for what you've done for this game all these years dude, seriously. I loved watching your content and still do even though I am not an active player and I hope that this situation won't stop you from making content on the game for as long as it lives, or for other games really. Thanks again for everything dude! Rock the fuck on! \m/
Thanks again Sinzar. For me I think things began to go wrong when we were given the extra lapis accidentally. They started cutting content so we werent given lapis as rewards. That started a vicious cycle 😢.
sad to watch them implode like this. they had a huge and loyal player base, good money coming in, content creators racking up tons of views...there was always ups and downs but one day it seems like they just gave up and the game went into a full nosedive straight to the dumpster. they did it to themselves. ill miss the game and community, but its time to go touch some grass 💚
You probably won't read this, but thank you Sinzar. You have been amazing since you've started this channel. You've made a real difference in the lives of so many people, including myself. You rock, my dude.

Started Day 1 and stopped playing in March this year, because my year-long partner left me ... Just heard from a friend that FFBE is being closed down. So naturally I had to come here, and watch Sinz one last time, reminiscing in all the good times I had watching his videos and guides, everything he has done for me and the community. And of course... Wishing you all, Sinz, the community, quitters, watchers, just everyone all the best for the future paths you take. If one door closes, another one opens. Thanks for everything all these years. Until we all meet again.
Quit this game a long long time ago... As a day 1 player, this game was the crack back then.. Along with brave frontier, alchemist code gumi was giant of gacha game. This and all other game I mentioned now have/will shut down for good, a reminder that good times will end.i hope they just don't waste away the universe they have created, maybe make a single player game? Idk but I just want to say thank you gumi for the high and lows😂
First off, thank you SOOO much Sinzar for all your amazing tips and videos. I can say without a doubt I would not still be playing after 8 long years if not for you. Damn, played faithfully every day for 8 years...wow...sad day indeed. Thanks again!
Your comment about starting and playing the game in the pre release reminded me that's also when I started as well. Your videos have honestly kept me at least mildly interested in FFBE through all eight years of its life, even when I stopped chasing releases or maxing out my attempts to clears. Thank you for all you've done to share your joy for the challenges FFBE offered and wish you the best in whatever you choose to do next with the channel!
Just wanted to say thank you Sinzar, you were always the go to guy for latest clears and Unit info! You helped me a TON , taught me the best way to build teams , chain , game mechanics etc!!! Just wanted to take the time to let you know you are truly appreciated 👏 💐 🥳
I mean I got my collection of event crap - so I dont think I will forget .. I got 4 of the Art book (2 signed by the producer I believe), the music CD, producer jacket, 2 fan festa shirts and items, and even Shaly's business card among probably another 4 staffers. I feel I got lots of good memories in the community and from the community. I love the discords of FFBE and Hellsengir. It was a good run.
What an emotional ride! So many dear memories 🥲 one of the most memorable was to finally had THE Sinzar himself as a friend in the game! Thanks for keeping us engaged with your guides
Thank you so much for everything you've done for the community over the years, Sinzar. I don't think I would have been able to clear 75% of the content without your videos.
Absolutely a very sad day for me! But I can't deny that this is the greatest online game I have ever played. And thanks to u mostly Sinzar, I could pass a lot of hard trials for many years.
I literally wouldn’t be able to clear most endgame content without your guides. Your weekly videos was something that was already part of my routine. Thank you Sinzar for all that you’ve done for the community
Thank you Sinzar for all your efforts towards this community and game. Lasting memories and fun from the land of Lapis, hopefully we will meet again in our next adventure!
Thank you Sinzar for all you did with the game and to support the player base. Back when you were showing budget clears with 6* Sephiroth; my understanding of how to play the game grew so much faster seeing you treat every challenge like a puzzle to solve. Dark Visions, Trials, Clash of Wills, being Noctis bros… it was a fun ride. Looking forward to what you pick up next. Thanks for everything!
Thank you for all your hard work during these years, Sinzar. I have always listened to your podcast every week. Its been wonderful 8 years. I will keep tune in for your FFBE JP content or whatever you are up to. Thanks again ❤
Thanks for the guides and unit summary vids and everything else. I quit a bunch of times and came back a bunch of times but one thing that was consistent was watching your guides
That's why I try to stay F2P as much as I can on F2P online games since the catch with these things is it being a live-service it will always have an EOS at some point. Usually most mobile online F2P games I've played has lasted 10-12 years before hitting EOS. That's why I enjoy playing offline titles more since they can basically stick around forever.
Thank you for being my go to person for FFBE content it's been a wild ride and it's sad to see it go but I hope everyone is happy with how they left their accounts. It's been a ride.
I was sick for about 3 months and I came back to the game this week and I was so sad to receive the news. I don't even know how to explain it but I'm really sad. Anyway, thank you for all the support and help you gave us with everything about the game. You're the best!
Didn't see if this was already mentioned, but some places that would be covered by the Global app have laws that would require user data be deleted. It would be far easier to delete evryone's data than try to pinpoint which users reside in regions that legally require them to delete user data. Thanks for all you've done for the community. :)
The CoW: Another's utter failure is the first nail int he coffin. All those months of developing a technically new game mode that lasted for 2 months... Anyway, thanks for the help all these years, Sinzar! May whatever you're doing later be fruitful!
Want to add to the many voices and say thank you Sinzar your videos have always been enjoyable and I will keep watching the videos you put out regardless of the direction you decide to take. Thanks for the tips guides character reviews and just generally being a good guy
Hard to see it finally happen. i was on hiatus several times because of stuff happening with the game especially with story events and coming back again and again and had an overall good fun with the game. And you and Liviedili were my source of knowledge on most of my way through the game whether for guides on all the hard content or on podcasts for the state of the game. Sad to see that ending here and now.
I heard about this a few days ago, and while I'm not surprised that this was going to happen when I quit playing a year or two ago, it's...melancholic. Like...I spent so many years playing this, like 6 I think?? Whenever the first Nier event happened (I came JUST after that event happened, my first 5-star was Trance Terra and this was during the time that Great Malboro happened I think??). It feels so weird that it's just going away...like is it impossible to have an offline version of the game?? Like...that shouldn't be too hard to do, right?? Let people have fun with the game offline, messing around with what the game had! Why make it just...vanish from existence?? I do know that when I stopped playing (around the Leona DQ event), the game was feeling so stale to me. Like every event was the same and some events were just impossible to really keep up with unless we had the most up-to-date units. Your guides really helped me over the years, and saved me SO much time setting up my party (I used to spend an entire day setting parties up in the early days...). The one thing I DO regret doing with this game was spending as much money as I did...I always told myself that that could've went to other things like food or new games or things like that, but I got sucked into this game really badly, especially with the limited events. And eventually, the Leona event made me stop due to that lol... RIP FFBE T-T
Thanks for all you've done for the community Sinzar, it's been a great honor to experience this game with you. May the blessings of the crystals be with you and may the light guide your path, farewell fellow Warrior of Light!
Thank you Sinzar for all the strat vids. You have helped the game immensely by helping out the player base to beat tough challenges throughout the years.
Its sad times to hear this... Ive been a avid player since day one up till Season 2 or after Neo Vision was becoming a thing and the game got way too complex and money hungry. We had a wild ride. Thank you FFBE and will always remember the great times we had when Shaly was with us.
Thank you Sinzar for all the videos over the last 8 years and sticking it in the end. I enjoyed frantically watching your videos to beat the weekly events and bosses hours before the server reset. Thank you for all you've done for the community and spending time with us the last 8 years. It was great and wonderful. My heart is sad but my wallet is happy 😂😂😂
Thanks Sinzar for all the vids you put out and your guides. I wish I would've found your channel a lot sooner, or I would've came back to BE years ago. I've struggled on this game but always enjoyed it. I stopped playing it after Opera Omnia released right before 7* era. You're legit my favorite content creator out of all the gachas I've played. Whatever you do in the future I'll be following. I appreciate all the help you did for this community. Best of luck moving forward 👍
That "We're deleting all players accounts." Is basically Gumi giving everyone the middle finger. I have a strong feeling that WotV is approaching EoS as well, sometime early next year since I truly believe Gumi is collapsing as a company. I would say if anyone made any recent purchases prior to this, I would strongly recommend seeking a refund through Google or Apple and for the reason, just say "End of Service/Game is shutting down." When DFFOO announced it's EoS earlier this year, many people were told to seek any refunds they could get.
I've played this game since it's early days and even put in quite a few dollars (probably too much) into its bundles and summon banners. Can't believe it's finally ending. It will be missed...
I haven't played this game hardcore since a little after the NVs were released, just couldn't keep up. However, prior to that I used your guides all the time to help power through some of the harder pieces of content. Thank you for your time and efforts, Sinzar. I wish you success into your future.
After about a year not playing this I decided to come back because I missed playing this game. I love the story aspect of it and it drew me in, I was invested. So when I heard this news I was devastated not many games drew me in story-wise. This is a sad day.

I thought of making Screenshots too. I wanted to clear up my Units on the weekend and then have fun remember of the past.
very well said
The greed drunk corporation always tries to get more for less until they drive away all the players.
Was a day 1 player of Brave Frontier until it closed. Here from day 1 of FFBE until now...
Dang! I was just back to this game about past two months. Back and forth, i still remember using the first higher 5star atc is about 900 when this game is coming.
Thank you very much Sinzar. Here's for the amazing 8 years with its ups and downs. All the best for you and everyone here.
I feel relieved, sad but happy
Thank you very much Sinzar for your help during these 8 years of pleasure with the FFBE
Thanks again Sinzar. For me I think things began to go wrong when we were given the extra lapis accidentally. They started cutting content so we werent given lapis as rewards. That started a vicious cycle 😢.
Literally burned 700,000 event currency last night 😭😭😭😭
Singer! Ty for all your time given. I've enjoyed watching your videos for years. I will miss your content. Thanks for all the good times exvius!!
Have you guys noticed what they named October's log in rewards? Into Oblivion LOL.
sad to watch them implode like this. they had a huge and loyal player base, good money coming in, content creators racking up tons of views...there was always ups and downs but one day it seems like they just gave up and the game went into a full nosedive straight to the dumpster. they did it to themselves. ill miss the game and community, but its time to go touch some grass 💚
You probably won't read this, but thank you Sinzar. You have been amazing since you've started this channel. You've made a real difference in the lives of so many people, including myself. You rock, my dude.
My only 2 main Gacha games both announce EOS this month. And Aqua graduated yesterday. I don't feel good so I left this message here.
What was your other game?
@@dayneperry8493 It's called Brown dust or Brave Nine depends on where you are. The game is pretty generous after announcing EoS. They made all paid skin in-game currency purchasable and gives lots of resource on a daily basis. Everyone gets to be a whale for free.
RIP Shaly who's memories will slowly fade along with FFBE now that it is ending.
Definitely RIP Shaly but she will be remembered long after the lifespan of this game
I didn’t know she passed,that’s crazy.
@@splick718 yeah I believe she passed last year or the year before. It was sad.
thank you for everything.
I quit playing FFBE 4 years since release day, still kept up with year to year updates and watched FFBE streamers and your videos of course, ggs thank you for your time in making videos happen Sinzar!
Dang. End of an era…. I’m sad to see it being shut down after so many fond years of playing this game.
Thank you Sinzar for helping me through countless trials, events, and daily farms through your content!
I haven’t played ffbe in years since they made the neo version units basically but came to log in every now and then and do some free summon sessions for the nostalgia.this was my first really hardcore gacha game I committed to and where I learned and watched about you, claic, howled, tecmaki. Memories of Shaly and the live events….this was a great time and will be missed
I haven’t been recommended an ffbe randomly in years, it’s weird and great that this randomly came up in my recommended page. Thank you sinzar for all your wonderful guides.
Dude, I played this game a lot until it got 6 stars. It was really fun and strategic, but the company focused a lot on Powercreep to sell characters and forgot to Dude, I played this game a lot until it got 6 stars. It was really fun and strategic, but the company focused a lot on Powercreep to sell characters and forgot to make a fun game. a fun game.
Thank you for everything Sinzar. You been soooo much help for years. Its been fun and i am sad.
Very sad day for rain. Game has priceless memories for me.
Thank you equally for the content : )
What an emotional ride! So many dear memories 🥲 one of the most memorable was to finally had THE Sinzar himself as a friend in the game! Thanks for keeping us engaged with your guides
Thank you Sinzar. You have been a pillar of this community.
Well, at least it died by its own before w0k3 virus got in and ruined everything it represented.
Finally its happened, farewell FFBE 😢 what a long journey...😢
3015 Days login, RIP FFBE, Thanks Sinzar for all the guides. Been prepared for this but still feel the hurts.
That's why I enjoy playing offline titles more since they can basically stick around forever.
thank you Sinzar. Our FFBE journey comes to a close. I am just waiting as the time dwindles down to the end.
Good bye guys. Thanks for all the help all this years
I remember rerolling an account to try and farm Orlandeau. RIP
Been a long ride. Thank you Sinzar for all the contents all these years.
Thanks for the content through the years!
Thx for all the years!! Time to dust off the app and go back finish what i missed this last year. End of an era!!
Thank you for your service to the FFBE community. I quit years ago, but may login to finish the story and upgrade my Esther.
Fingers crossed for a fresh new game in the same spirit.
Same
I wonder if this is why they have been importing characters into War of the Visions?
Thank you for getting us through the seemingly impossible content!
Halloween event on Oct 31st, 2024!
Thank sinzar. Your guides and videos have been invaluable!
Thanks Sinzar for everything.
I stopped playing a few months ago from day 1, but the only reason I played that long was because of your videos. Thanks for all your help Sinzar!
Thank you for your guides and strategies over the years.
Its been a couple of years since I stopped playing but you and the rest of the community really carried the game for me. Thanks for everything. ❤
Loved your content and your voice and your guides so I definitely think you should hit the ground running and share other games or things you love. People will watch ❤❤❤ good luck sinzar!
I definitely will stop farming after 7+ years lol, not to mention all accounts will be deleted. Though this still hits hard since FFBE global had been part of old timers' lives whether we admit or not.
o7 FFBE
Thanks for all the guides & content Sinzar, you're the GOAT
This is really heartbreaking 💔 never thought I’d see the day😢
