So, in this case with "Wherever You Go..." (Richard Marx, I think), you got a great and rare thing: you combines music and video with a incredible proportion. Congratulations! The movie it's great too, so, was a great choice!

They easiest (and safest) way to get around copyright is changing the pitch of the song before uploading (e.g. with Audacity or Sony Vegas Pro).
