Just a disclaimer to the people who are saying orange didn’t deserve it. Orange had a tumbling bust day 1 and had a .25 deduction for it. The girl that walked of the mat wasn’t counted as a deduction because it’s simply not a deduction. Orange hit 0 day 2 and so did SE, but from Senior Elite’s stunt fall on day 1 they ended up with a 0.75 deduction. Seniors raw score on day 1 was a 97.37. Orange’s raw score on day 1 was a 97.67. Seniors raw score day 2 was 98.37. Orange’s raw score for day 2 was a 98.70. Orange clearly deserved their win and Senior Elite did amazing on day 2. So instead of getting mad at another team because your favorite got 2nd instead of first, why not just celebrate the fact that they both did good and got the placement that they deserved. 😊
Yes I would say they are underdogs . Everyone thought panthers and even se, would talk it home . But orange cane in hit both days and it was beautiful !!! So much credit to them
Amanda Tucker I agree with everything you said, I just wouldn’t call them underdogs. They have more gold medals than any other team in history. I’m glad they had a few bad years and this is coming from someone who cheered at stingrays back in the day. They had a huge ego that they needed to bring down from winning so much so I’m glad they’ve calmed down a bit
A Sottilare They have be quiet for a while that’s why I called them underdogs. I feel like everyone forgot how good they are, and they do come to win!! I am excited for worlds now !!! I would love to see them take it home

Anna Leigh orange always inspired me when I cheered. The coaching at that gym is unbelievable. The tumbling is always amazing and clean. They aren’t throwing skills that they barely can complete. Their cleanliness is always great. It’s the little things that make a difference, not just who can have the best pyramid or stunts. That’s just my opinion though
Anna Leigh orange has won worlds 8 worlds by not having an “innovative” routine, or a themed routine, but a CLEAN routine that MAXES out the scoresheet. This routine is incredibly clean, strong, and well executed. It’s done with confidence. Those coaches know exactly what they’re doing at Rays. Cheer is a •competitive• sport, so just because a certain team has a large fan base doesn’t mean that they’ll win. It doesn’t matter what’s innovative or iconic to the fans eyes. The only thing that is judged is the 2:30 routine that is put out by that team. So if we compare orange and se, 1st vs 2nd, both teams hit 0. I enjoy se’s routine, I’ve seen it multiple times, this is my first time seeing orange. I am on a level 5 worlds team as well. And I can tell you that the difference isn’t innovativeness or creativity. It comes down to execution. Especially when the scores are less than a point difference.
