    The WalkingPad X21 Treadmill is an extremely compact model. We recommend it for users who live in apartments and condos, on upper-level floors, and who have only a small amount of space. The X21 has a unique double-folding mechanism that allows this treadmill to be stored in a closet or pushed against a wall, out of the way.
    The WalkingPad X21 is best for walking only, although users with shorter running strides will be able to lightly jog on the deck as well. The 1.0 HP brushless motor is quiet and moves the belt from 1 mph up to 7.5 mph. It’s fairly quiet, too.
    What makes the X21 unique is its double-folding mechanism. The deck folds in half and then folds again at the top of the deck to sit upright under the console and uprights. It reminds me of a large briefcase when folded. This technology takes the deck from around 56” long to only 9” long when folded.
    Something to be aware of is that the area in the deck that folds can be felt underfoot when using the WalkingPad X21. It is noticeable, especially if you’ve used a treadmill before, however with time, most will probably get used to it. We did, after using the X21 for a bit.
    The console and uprights remain in place when the X21 is folded and unfolded. The console is also built into the handle to display metrics like your time, distance, and speed. The center adjustment dial is pretty intuitive to use for adjusting the treadmill. You can also download the KS Fit App for free to track your workouts and adjust the treadmill with your phone.
    If you’re looking for a small walking treadmill that can be stored out of sight, this is one to consider.

    I love how thorough and concise your reviews are! Could you do a top 10 for the best treadmills that are more compact for home settings? There's so many out there but it's hard to decide which one is reliable.

    When you said this was light by comparison, I had to get a sense of how heavy treadmills were in comparison to the 90 lb plus this one weighs. And I did not have a sense of how HP contributed to using this at its max speed for too long. This is a pretty thorough review. I appreciate the information here.

    I LOVE the simple, clean look of this! Do you like this as much as some of the other brands of walking/light running treadmill pads? I was also considering the Urevo 3-in1 as well as the Lifespan (but I wish it had a front folding handle!).....thoughts?

    • @Hila_G
      @Hila_G Рік тому +4

      @@jenniferf3034 Yes, I use it a few times a week. It's pretty easy to set up and use. I was worried about feeling the line under the belt where it folds while I walk, but I don't feel it at all (not with shoes, anyway). I don't use the app because I have another app for counting steps and I'm okay with managing it using the button. It's also not noisy, which is good since I live in an aprtment building, but I bought a mat for it anyway to be sure the neighbours wouln't complain

      @@Hila_GCan you roll it under a sofa?

    • @Hila_G
      @Hila_G 4 місяці тому

      @@Yahya-X No - if you lay it down instead of standing it up, the wheels come off the floor, so if you try to roll in, you'll just be dragging it on the floor. Also, there are no pads or legs or anything on that side that you can rest it on, it's just the frame of the handle/arch. I don't think it is meant to be laid down and pushed under a sofa.

    Will you consider reviewing a Kingsmith K15 treadmill? That's quite interesting model, also foldable and with build-in 4% incline(you can't change it, but as for me, for a foldable and relatively compact treadmill that's an amazing feature)

    When running at high speed, it is difficult to control the rotation of the control knob to increase or decrease the speed exactly as desired. Very dangerous. Better if it has a handheld remote. But this product does not have a remote control, it is not designed according to this model. The phone app is also difficult to control and sometimes doesn't connect well

    My wife and I are looking for a small foldable treadmill, and this seems perfect for our apartment. But, she will primarily be walking while I would like to run. For how long would you recommend to use this at max speed? I guess I will be running for about 30 minutes 2-3 times during the week. I am 5,7 and not that heavy.
    Thanks in advance.

    Is it still worth getting this one? Debating over R2. Which do you recommend? I prefer to use at standing desk and be able to run at the max speed when not at the desk. Assuming X21 can still go under the desk even the bar doesn't goes down. Is there better folding treadmill over those two model?

    Hey. Just bought one of these. Wanted to jog on it for the first time but when I get up to 9 km and start to run the belt slips on each footfall. The mat itself is running in good alignment but I feel like I am going to mess my back up trying to run on it. Has the tall guy or you dealt with this issue? And how did you fix it?

    • @TreadmillReviewGuru
      @TreadmillReviewGuru  Рік тому +2

      Hey, great question! Matt here, you might need to tighten the belt. That slipping feeling should go away once the belt is a little tighter. There are two holes at the back of the deck, if you get an Allen wrench, tighten it evenly on each side so the belt stays aligned. Let me know if you have any other questions.

    • @aintnostringsonme9349
      @aintnostringsonme9349 Рік тому

      @@TreadmillReviewGuru Thanks so much for the reply. It’s brand new and belt is very tight - can’t get my hand under it when fully extended. Just out of curiosity, do you know which way to turn the screws to tighten the belt? I actually applied the remainder of the lubricant bottle to the deck and that made a huge difference. I could actually run on it okay, not perfect, but okay. I only weigh about 90kg so I don’t think that’s it 😂. Hope not anyway.

There are videos on YT that show how to align a belt on a treadmill, do a search and you'll see several videos with demonstrations and explanations about aligning the belt with athe wrench you got with the treadmill

    Can the "handlebar" be detached for use under a desk?

    • @balboa0621
      @balboa0621 Рік тому +9

      No. The r2 version handlebar that can be folded down for desk use. If using it at a desk is important to you, that is a better option. If you ONLY intend to use it for light walking and under desk, there are much smaller/cheaper options. The x21 and r2 allow for light jogging, which is nice if you need that, but it makes them larger.
      Don’t buy the x21 or r2 unless you intend to use your treadmill for more than 3.5 mph.

    • @OathesisGaming

      i was hoping the handlebars would detached too. @veronica did you find a suitable walking pad for under the desk use?

    • @Veronica.SPinto
      @Veronica.SPinto Рік тому +3

      @@OathesisGaming yes. I ended up getting the R1 Pro as it has the same weight capacity and comes with "foldable" handlebars so you have the flexibility of using it as a walking pad under the desk or treadmill for jogging. Not quite as aesthetic as the x21 (imo) but a great purchase.

      I would go with the R2. Since the console doesn't fold down on the X21, you would have to raise your desk pretty high to fit it underneath. The R2 is meant to be used under a desk and on its own, so it's better for that kind of use. Plus, the R2 folds up to be just as compact as the X21.
