    Ultra Beautiful!
    Timeless class.
The Art of Enchantment. Brings the warmest Memories of my loving Parents and Grandparents from The Days when LIFE was more trustworthy, safer, and contently simple.
    Thank you💚

Transports me back to a more elegant era of beautiful music, the way music was meant to be.

Beautiful album. Popular standards that stood the test of time. Paul Weston never failed to give you great interpretations of these incredibly beautiful songs mostly from the 1920's through the 1940's. Songs from an era when you had the greatest composers of the great American Songbook. In the mid 1950's I had an elderly friend who was a fine pianist and he once told me quote "the best music has been written" . It's something I've never forgotten. Has the years rolled one I came to realize how right he was. Yes, when you hear this noise that's called music today, he was absolutely right. Yes, the best music HAS been written.

There have been kind of musical geniuses to romance melodies but Paul Weston is THE BEST. He's unique. NO-ONE else like him.

Today's music is an insult to the word "music". Music like this by Paul Weston and his Orchestra is not only good music , but indeed great music!

Timeless! And how consummately therapeutic to land on your album upload after recent ugliness in the news.
Weston was absolute class. Happy to be old enough to have lived in his era and always a joy to jump back into it. Thanks!

It's just an excellent album...one of my favorites by Weston... I particularly like the first tune "I'll Remember April" .. the arrangement captures the wistfulness of looking back, but is full of emotional power, too. The introduction is fantastic.

    0:00 - I'll Remember April (Lyrics):
This lovely day will lengthen into evening
We'll sigh goodbye to all we ever had
Alone where we have walked together
I'll remember April and be glad
I'll be content you loved me once in April
Your lips were warm and love and spring were new
I'm not afraid of autumn and her sorrow
For I'll remember April and you
The fire will dwindle into glowing ashes
For flames live such a little while
    I won't forget but I won't be lonely
    I'll remember April and smile

6:16 - Little Girl Blue (Lyrics)
    No use old girl
    You might as well surrender
    Your hope is getting slender
Why won't somebody send a tender blue boy
To cheer up little girl blue
Sit there and count your fingers
    What can you do?
    Old girl you're through
So sit there and count your little fingers
    Unlucky little girl blue, whoa
Sit there and count the raindrops falling on you
    It's time you knew
That all, all you count is the raindrops
    That's falling on
    Little blue girl
    No use old girl
    You might as well surrender
    Your hope is getting slender
Why won't somebody send a tender blue boy
To cheer up little girl blue

Gracias.

    12:58 - Dearly Beloved (Lyrics)
Dearly beloved, how clearly I see,
Somewhere in Heaven you were fashioned for me,
    Angel eyes knew you,
    Angel voices led me to you;
    Nothing could save me,
    Fate gave me a sign;
    I know that I'll be yours come shower or shine;
    So I say merely,
    Dearly beloved be mine.

9:49 - Garden in the Rain (Lyrics)
It was just a garden in the rain
Close to a little leafy lane
A touch of color 'neath skies of gray
The raindrops kissed the flower beds
The blossoms raised their thirsty heads
A perfumed "Thank you" they seemed to say
Surely here was charm beyond compare - to view
Maybe it was just that I was there - with you
It was just a garden in the rain
But then the sun came out again
And sent us happily on our way

3:11 - I See Your Face Before Me (Lyrics)
I see your face before me
    Crowding my every dream
There is your face before me
    You are my only theme
It doesn't matter where you are
I can see how fair you are
I close my eyes and there you are
    Always
If you could share the magic
Yes, if you could see me too
    There would be nothing tragic
In all my dreams of you
Would that my love could haunt you so
    Knowing I want you so
I can't erase your beautiful face before me
