I wanted to see how long the Wolfe Ridge 17VS would take to fill up a IBC tote. I split 10 totes total today and the time killer was changing the totes out.
I ordered my 17VS-C a few weeks ago, cant wait, super excited, sold my Eastonmade 22/28 this week. . I am a one man operation same as you are showing! Thank you for the video !
Thanks I should have ran 2 cameras but needed to get alot split. I don’t have a box wedge on the SHO and honestly never ran one. I do like them but the amount of trash that comes off I don’t know if I would enjoy that part.
@@Cinder2008 woah crazy! To me loosing the stick of wood wouldn’t bother me. But it’s the waist you have to clean up and cart around that I don’t like.
John, love your videos, noticed you took the lights off your splitter??? My 17vs-c was supposed to be in by end of year but I have not received it yet, Chris said maybe by the end of January ? I have my fingers crossed. I’m super excited. I’m sure it will be well. Worth the wait!! Take care and stay safe my friend .
Hey thanks yea I have lights in shop. I tarped it few times and didn’t want tarp on the lights. It’s worth the wait it’s alot of fun to split with also. The conveyer model is awesome too I have to see down the road if I will upgrade to that one or not.

Your going to love it it’s a lot of fun to run
Great setup! If I was doing firewood full time I would have to have it! 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks
The fast time surprised me. Nice clean splits and no waste.
Thanks Dick plan was to run 2 cameras but had a lot to get done yesterday
Someone recently commented on one of our videos saying that machine is slow. 🤨😂
Nice work Matt!
hi there good show. nice splitting john
Thanks John
SWEET , you have an awesome set up !!!
Thank you
Nice setup!
I’d like to see a comparison between your setup and a box wedge.
Your splitting technique is very efficient.

Another UA-camr estimated he lost 10% using the box wedge.
Split 10 pieces, throw one away.

Works out nice! I can’t wait to use my new conveyor in the spring.
I think I am going with the 35 SHO for the box wedge but I would like to have both . There both good units .
Never ran a box wedge but I do want to
That’s a sweet splitter I keep saying “ I really need to get one “
Been working on the wife on one 👍👍🤞🤞🤞
Thanks. Tell the wife it’s fast so you will have more time to spend with her🤝
