"Grandma may smell funny but Hug her anyway Accept her stinkin kisses and Then Go out and play But she's got all the money so You might just wanna stay Grandma may smell funny but Hug her anyway"-----Charlie Waffles
What's even funnier is how Charlie got the kids song gig in the first place. If you remember the previous episode, he was having a dry spell writing jingles, and there was no money coming in. Alan got worried while Charlie kept telling him "don't worry, something will come up". So Alan goes out to volunteer for a medical trial to make $1,000/week and gets boils, pimples, a high hearth rhythm, and his hair falls out. At the end of the show as Alan is wiped out, the phone rings and it's Linda's ex-husband who is a record exec and offers Charlie a big gig recording kids songs. He tells Alan "see, I told you something would come up" while Alan is about dead. Hilarious!!!
And Alan later says about Charlie, "he's strangely unhappy with the latest gold nugget to fall out of his ass." The show's moral was Charlie was the schlemeil who did everything wrong but got rewarded, while Alan was the schlemossel who did everything right but got punished because of Charlie's actions (i.e. turning him schizophrenic as a child, turning his divorce-lawyer against him as an adult, etc).
Charlie made more money off this then he did writing jingles. Maybe now Steven Tyler can't beat him up again. Cause kids love Charlie Waffles and will hate anyone who beats him up. "Mommy, Steven Tyler's a bad man, he beat up Charlie Waffles!"
(lmao ''of c they sucked they're kids songs'' sorry it sounds mean towards the kids, it isn't meant to be. it's sort of pooetic and also something mostly artist, singers etc understand. - tho kids' feelings still get hurt. :-( )
