Was fishing for zander at winding rivulet yesterday and I caught a 13KG catfish with my 3 KG drag reel haha I thought it was a huge zander was fighting for 35 mins
Old Burg is Pike heaven, and other fish that seem to love spinning,everywhere there are reeds and trees in the water,everywhere..) Winding Rivulet is spinning heaven aswell(so says the description) but for some reason i caught alot more fish spinning at Old burg then Winding.(and Old Burg has only 2 stars for spinning i believe,Winding has 5 stars...the maximum) Probably due to technique or rather no technik of mine...hhhh,i got spooled by a pike when i didn't have the 27.5 kg rod but it was 15 kg and he spooled me like it was nothing,i was fishing with the perch looking lure,26g) At Old Burg i used a Funky Minnow (floater) the last one. Red head,silver body. Every cast, a bite. I caught about 100 pikes in 2 game days(biggest one almost 7kg.) But that was just @ one spot!!Cross the bridge,take a right and cast to the other side next to the bridge. In the reeds and left and right. Hadn't even checked out other spots... Just a quick tipp, when you have a catfish on the hook, dont try to pump, put your rod 90 degrees away from the fish and let your drag do the work

Brim are sunfish, bream are in the Cyprinidae family you where pronounceing it correctly before
Also silver bream are just bream under 1kg and if your not on steam then you won’t show up on the leaderboard
