- In this video my wife and I set up for a 60th surprise birthday party in Virginia! The colors for this event were Gold, Black and White! The client gave us free course and told us to do our thing!
This event catered to about 90 guests total and took about 3 hrs to set up with absolutely no prep work!

I just want to say I have learn a lot just by watching your videos. The do's and don't little hacks you use just so much that I feel confident tapping into the decorating arena!! I know this was 2 yrs ago but the chair covers...were they folding chair covers?
They are the banquet chair covers. I had to be strategic with on how I applied them but we made them work.

Thank you so much 😊! For my 8 foot tables if I don’t use the spandex ones I shoot for at least a 60x120 at the minimum. That will at least give you lap length and also for a 6 foot table if needed. If you want floor length you could do 90x156 for the 8 ft tables!

You & your wife/team do beautiful work! My daughter is an event planner - decorator & I'm her team along with her daughter. There's a venue here in Missouri that has these exact chairs (I loathe them). PLEASE share your secret to the type of chair covers you used that stay on those horrible bases.
These chairs have us a hard time to be honest. We’re using these regular spandex chair covers a.co/d/6mz4oNV and just pulling them to where they fit the base of the chairs snug enough to stay.

What size are the birthday banners? I notice you don't link your items used.
The banner behind the head table is 8x8 and the one for photos was a 6x8. I stopped linking items because no one ever checked the description box and would come to the comment section to ask and I don’t mind helping so I respond. The large 8x8 came from Mocsicka.com & the smaller one came from Amazon.

My centerpieces come from a mixture of places and items I was given.

This is an old video so I’m sure they were from Amazon under the AK trading company. I order my drapes from CV linen now.

Where did you get the crystals hanging from the gold tree on the table please
Those trees were actually gifted to me when I first started decorating. I believe she got The whole tree from Efavormart though.

Yes every order I’ve gotten came with the carrying bags, it’s makes it so much easy to only take what I need to events!
