How do you reapply sunscreen throughout the day with make up on? I wouldn't mind re-doing my make up for it but I hear that sunscreen needs to be reapplied every 2 hours. That is quite a lot to start over from scratch!

As a former dermatology nurse, you get an A+++++ on your skin care advice! SUNSCREEN!!!! Yes! Everything you said is just right on the money. I appreciate your knowledge and getting the word out and not giving bad advice.
Also my husband loves you which is adorable. He pretends he isn’t watching but then I hear him exclaim or laugh and I’ll look over and he’s totally watching from the kitchen

For anyone thinking about Biossance and wondering if jvn is just hyping them up because they're working together - nope. Their stuff is the real deal. My skin looks SO much better from using it for the last few months. Brighter, more even, softer, fewer spots. I'm pretty obsessed!

I really love your videos. They are so uplifting and positive! I had grown up with a mom who was mentally ill, and never was taught how to care for my skin or my curly hair properly, and these videos have been helpful, especially the curly hair part! We need more JVNs in the world!
For people that want / need to wear makeup everyday! Really recommend using tinted sunscreen and sunscreen powder to set. This way you're not using regular foundation all day everyday, there's brands like Avene and Umbrella that have great coverage.

Love, love, love this video but just wanted to chime in & say that quite some time now I have been using plain old sweat bands found in the athletic department of most department stores. Even on Amazon there’s bunches of them, priced very inexpensively. I love the tip & I’m certain that the wristbands that he is promoting are absolutely wonderful just wanted to give an option for those of us who have maybe a bit of a lower budget. Love you JVN 💚💙

I used the same skincare for 6 years. I decided to try CeraVe. Cleanser and am/pm moisturizer lotions. Thankful for the reminder it can take 4 weeks or more for the adjustment. Becausemy face, she is going through it right now.

I do have really bad under eye dark circles that I hate and I wondered if you had any advice for those? I know you talked about bags but I am not sure if the treatment is the same.

I have both psoriasis and rosacea. My miracle product is organic rose hip oil. Stops the red itchies in a flash!

Just dragged my lazy ass out of bed and washed my face (also flossed). Thank you, Jonathan for being the cool auntie I never had 🤗
Tip: if you're too lazy to wash your face (I am sometimes) use a cleanser lotion or micellar water that you just put on a cotton and wash your face with. It may not be the best, but it is better than not washing at all on lazy days.

If you are having serious problems with your skin - look into your health, mental and physical.
I advocate a budget friendly regime you can fall back on at any time, the last thing you need is more stress if you aren't doing well. Kindness first. Avoid fragrance and very active ingredients, and the easier the better (same goes with food, or therapeutic options like exercise or meditation, simple and easy). Introduce things you want one at a time and see how you go.

I didn't know you have psoriasis!! Omg we're seriously meant to be bffs. I've had it since I was 5. I'm 38 now. I'm so fortunate that I'm able to have good medications to keep it under control. Thank you for all you do 🤗

Not gonna lie, I like to think I know a lot about skincare but I watched this cuz I love JVN. Turns out, of course I learned something from this icon :-) was wondering why my skincare is always rubbing off on my pillow. Definitely going to start applying sooner at night 💕
I see you are also a big Squalane fan! If anyone is looking for a low budget option in that department then I highly recommend The Ordinary Squalane Oil, it is the best oil type product I've ever used

Some products, like certain serums or retinol, are recommended for night time because they can make your skin more vulnerable to sun damage
Infrared red light therapy booths or beds, are a complete game changer for those of us with eczema and others variations of dermatitis. They help strengthen the skin from every level. You're skin barrier will repair itself. Even the collagen production and cell turnover will start reversing sun damage and tone and texture will improve...... Isn't that fun!?😄
Oh yeah, and that Nécessaire body care line is seriously EVERYTHING!
