- The strong were coming to an end, it was time to continue the journey North.
Today's run would be from Mackay to Brampton/Carlisle Islands. Only around 5 hours.
There was still significant swell running as I exited the harbour in a rain shower. The current wind didn't really make up for the swell, so there was a lot of rigging slap going on. That gets old really quickly.
The day improved, the swell reduced, the sun came out and have us a lovely views of Brampton and Carlisle Islands. Even a whale showed up.

I guess Brampton Island resort very cheap to stay BUT no power or water?😂
From what I read it's not accessible. So many of these once popular resorts have closed and sit derelict. Shame.
