Man I was so impressed with Alfred and Willem Dafoe..they didn't miss a beat after all these years and even exceeded their roles
I didn’t care for willem dafoe in this one tbh, I thought he completely nailed it in the first one, but he was okay at best in this film.
@@anthonyontv you’re delusional, willem stole the movie every time he was on screen. While Alfred was great in no way home he was 100% better in SM2
Loved No way home man, it was very close to my heart :) btw guys i discussed about my Spider Man rankings on my new channel so if any spidey enthusiasts wanna have a friendly discussion about our beloved spidey with a fellow spidey fan, please feel free to check out, love you guys :)
I teared up the moment he got the new chip installed, when he said 'those voices are gone'. Because I remembered how he wasn't evil and all his rage came from the corruption from the arms. Loved his acting!
@@mattasaurus12 yeah he made his arms but the chip that was protecting his brain from the arms got fried since they were super high tech and instead of him being in control of the arms the arms took control of him
@@SaraSong-mw3zm not entirely, 2 pretty much established and confirmed that the loss of his wife and money (and obsession an ego with the responsibility of completeing his work) drove him mad. The loss of the chip just fed off those aspects of him that were always there.
Hence why he never got a new inhibitor in 2’s ending, peter made him realize and take control again on his own.
From the beginning, it was kind of always him.
Funny enough, the fact that he learned to control them
On his own showed he never even really needed the chip to begin with from the start.
He literally just didn’t believe the power couldn’t corrupt him due to his deep understanding of his own more unstable beliefs.
@@theradionicrevival8068 well the arms told him some sweet lies and he fell for it
It amazes me that Alfred and Dafoe really haven't aged that much in 17 or 20 years.
Amazing.
@@thecreativeparadise1203 I mean the only thing they've done is use hair dye. In the a Promising young woman he has jet black hair and a pure white beard.
It's amazing how Alfred can portray his lash anger playing Doc Ock in both Spider-Man 2 and No Way Home. But when you see him outside of his character, he is so calm and compose I love it! Such a tremendous actor.
It mostly like that.Just as the most intelligent people can act like the most stupid.
Only the uneducated ones don’t know this or you’re just too delusional and not understand what’s really going on here. This movie is a 👎👎👎. Only in Kevin Feige’s dumb little mind that Spider-Man can beat Dr.Strange in dr.strange own dimension when we all really know that dr.strange is way more powerful than Spider-Man. Also, Dr.Strange can make Spider-Man not escape or hold him in place without escaping or kill Spider-Man without even trying. Don’t y’all see what’s going on here? Kevin Feige is slowly nerfing marvel characters. He did it to hulk already and now it’s dr. Strange turn.
Alfred Molina is, and always will be, the best Doc Ock I've ever seen in movies, games, and tv shows.
I fucking love how much he understands Otto and Peter. From interviews then and now it’s so clear he has as much passion about them as we do
It's Pure Nostalgia When He Sees Peter Again And That Moment Took Me Back Into My Childhood . All Those Joys Of Childhood Came Back To Me
i wanted more screen time for both of them tbh. 2 hour movie and then they talked for like 1 min then dr strange pops up then sent them back to their universe lol
"trying to do better"
TEARS ROLLING DOWN MY FACE
"catch
looks like we got competition
There you go"
Otto's sense of humor during fights never downsized after so many yrs lol
In all, thanks to this great actor who's always ready for his role. Alfred is Otto, Otto is Alfred!
"You gotta a train to catch" but seriously, idk why but I love the "There you go" line, it's like he's literally a Doctor trying to inject something(Or drawing out blood) on a 'eletrical' kid.
Molina’s American accent is just so, calm!
@@ouroborostechnologies696 well you could say it’s American… If you’re talking about a little after the American Revolution
@@sandrosamarasinghe3536 the guy was probably talking about his accent on the films
Alfred and Willem killed it as their reprising roles!! So good. I felt like a kid again watching everyone together on screen.
Molina should keep a watch out for the fuzz because he *murdered* this role. He was an absolute badass threat and upped the ante when the story called for that, and then he was even more human and relatable when it called for that too. Octopus is my favorite SM villain and Alfred just owned it. It’s almost a travesty that we won’t be getting any more.
I’m just glad we got 2 movies with doc ock with this man, he nailed it.
He’s absolutely right about Jamie though, he played his character phenomenally well
Id say Alfred Molina is born to play Doctor Octopus...I can't imagine anyone else playing that character. The guy is a master thespian
same here, I can't imagine anybody else playing Doc Ock but him. And for Goblin I think Willem Dafoe was born to play him
I love how he praised Jaime Foxx and Tom Holland improv work in the movie. They were great together!
Alfred and Willem stole the show for me. Both brought so much to their roles as beloved characters without missing a beat. They are incredible.
Some of these brilliant actors i never knew were British.
That's what I discovered watching _The Walking Dead._ Too bad Patrick Stewart couldn't do an American accent for Professor Xavier.
This man, is amazing. He will do big films or small roles on animated shows. He was on Rick and Morty and has done voices on Robot Chicken. From Indy to Spidey, this man can do it all.
lets see the REAL interview with Garfield. Man has some explaining to do lol
I love this man as Doc Ock. He gets it.
Him and Willem Dafoe slipped right back into their respective roles like a glove
Honestly he looks great here, they didn't have to retouch him with cgi in the film
Whoever the fight choreographer was for this film is amazing because green goblin kicked ass. Also amazing that Willem did most of his own stunts
I need a full 1hour documentary of the making of this movie.
"Marvel Studios Assembled" perhaps. ❤️
Spider-Man no way home was like the best movie ever I really enjoyed it
@Juan Silva Thats your taste for movies/comics. Mine is watching Tobey and Dafoe in action
I love all the comments, Alfred Molina is such an underrated actor who deserves all the love he is getting for playing such an amazing character ❤
I rewatched it last night and I gotta say, Alfred and Willem did not re-take their roles in stride just cause it was another comic book movie. To have actors of that caliber really exceed truly elevated this film into a different level
He was around 50 years old on spider man 2 . now around 70 years old . again a perfect actor and a lovely person . Love you from Alfred ❤❤
I love Alfred Molina he is an amazing actor of all time and he will always be the best doc ock
I STILL wonder how unhinged Otto is portrayed so masterfully by Alfred. You couldn't find a more polar opposite personality to his than in Doc Ock, yet you also can't really picture Doc Ock without his portrayal of him. SO cool.
I love that man, his voice it's beautiful.
He is back
Alfred Molina is Back
When he said to Tobey Maguire spider man you're all grown it appear to be talking to those who were watching spider man since 2000 my inner childhood is echoing
Seriously alfred looks like never age i mean he look the same as usual. All these OG actor really amazing in no way home
I'm so happy with Dr Ock fate turned another way plus reconcile with his enemy, decided to forget the past and move on. Wish you a longevity and happiness, Alfred.
*He is a good actor. Man, his performance as Doc Ock again was nostalgic. Just like Tobey. There are so many emotions that this movie brought out that I would have to write a book.*
He is one of the best actors of his generation.
Alfred still looks Amazing for his age!
thank you Alfred, you have portrayed doc ock so flawlessly. I hope its not the last time we see him as doc ock
It would be very nice if he can go back and redo his Character again for the next project to come in the future.
My Top 5 Alfred Molina's Best Roles
1st Doctor Octopus
2nd Multibear
3rd Double Dan
4th Satipo
5th King Agnarr
Spiderman: Fights reluctant villains
Batman: Fights villains with mental problems
a better way of putting it: Fights the animal and biological themed villains. (octopus, jackal, rhino, lizard, electricity, sand, water, spiders, centipedes, scorpion, cat, leopard, etc)
@@nickpenaranda725 that's lame....to me the best batman stories are always grounded like when he figths Joker, Riddler or bane.
Him fighting superman or darkseid will never make sense to me.
@@shadeop6773 yeah it will never make sense to you. Since he is known to be smart ass. And you're probably not
A real down to earth actor who loves what he does, my theatre literally cheered when Doc Ock emerged and said "hello Peter"
Not sure if I remember it correctly but there is one scenen in No Way Home where he was shouting, and his British accent really slipped out to the max
You are correct! I heard it too! It was when he didn’t want to be “helped” if you know what I mean
@@luis6633 nah it’s the one where he yells “be quiet child” or something like that when Tom keeps asking him questions about osborne
@@ybeef5883 it’s the one where he goes “WE TIRE OF YOUR QUESTIONS, BOY!!!”
That's what I always loved about him he cared about his doc roll to be honest I couldn't picture anybody else playing him
Alfred's hair in this interview looks more like 04' Ock's than it does in No Way Home lol
I like how molina shows dr octopus with not too much expressions but we understand quickly what he feels and what he want to do, cingrats
"It's good to see you dear boy"
"You're all Grown up"
If you know......you know, powerful........
Growing up watching this Brilliant actor on this character Doc Ock is my favorite spider man villain of all time and my favorite actor too
You know what was really awesome about this movie seeing the OGs the villains from the very first 2 Spider-Man movies Green Gob and of course Doc Ock this was a perfect ending to those characters
yeah absolutely, we finally got closure for them and managed to enjoy them just as much as we did the first time they showed up in Spiderman movies
Willem Dafoe and Alfred Molina are godsend to all Marvel and specially Spiderman Fans that followed the character from the very start. you all made a film that we will all remember for the entirety of our lives. thank you
The power of the sun...
@Erol Tanca I think so. Now hes free from the control of his arms hes on a better path now
@Erol Tanca If we’re going by Endgame time travel standards and we apply the same principles to the multiverse, Otto may have survived, went back to his universe, stopped the Fusion Reactor, and became good friends with Peter. However the version of Tobey we saw in the movie must now be in a different timeline from the Doc Ock we saw in this movie. By Ock surviving, he branches off into his own timeline, but Tobey’s timeline remains completely unaffected, all the events of the original trilogy still played out for him.
No way home is so good that its No way you’ll go home but rewatch it in the cinema.
Alfred will forever be my doc oct
when he mentions watts saying to go off on your own, that make me believe the scene with all 3 spiders on the statue was improve
Alfreid you are Amazing! An actor awesome, that did we all happy.
Alfred I loved watching you as doc Otto again. That was some intro you did on the movie.
he is literally the most british person of all time and yet he does a fantastic american accent
Everyone’s talking about Willem as they should because his portrayal was/is iconic but Alfred smashed it out the park too I actually preferred his character more in this than Spider-Man 2
While the CGI tentacles allowed them to do things that might not have been possible otherwise, I think it was a mistake. Alfred being able to interact with the puppets added _so much_ to his acting. Additionally, the puppets just looked much better. These things look like rubber hose animation from the 1920s.
Yeah, I get that Alfred’s almost 70 and I think wearing that heavy equipment at the time hurt his back, but I kinda wish they could’ve at least brought them in for the non-action scenes and puppeteer them in a way so Alfred wouldn’t have to have that big strain.
Alfred molina is the best person to ever exsit
I love this man so much. I have the biggest crush on him 🥺
why do i feel like he didnt age much after so many years..
@@candidoj when i first saw him in the trailer, i legit thought they got a similar looking actor to play him.. i was like no way he still looks like this after sooo many years..
Alfred Molina isn't a doc ock, he is THE doc ock, he is and he will be the best doc ock (or even best raimi "villian")
"Peter. Look at you, you're all grown up."

He held the power of the sun in the palm of his tentacles
Lets be honest, majority of people want to watch this movie because of him?
ALFRED MOLINA FOR PRESIDENT!!!
Alfred was answering questions, but where were the questions? aren't they supposed to show us?
The Questions are at the bottom of the title card things right before every question. 0:04 1:17 2:22 2:46 3:36
im glad Doc Oc and Tobey’s Peter had a proper closure i hope we see more like a spinoff
Molina looks great at 68 and really did not to be de-aged as Ock.

I wonder if people still tell him, “Throw me the idol, I throw you the whip!”.
When he said to Tobey's Spiderman: "You are all grown up", I felt like he was talking to all fans who love Spider-Man since 2002. That's great.
