    Post print nightmare patches applied, all shared V3 mode print objects fail point and print attempts by non-admin. Have you tested GPO to computers and/or users to same shares with print nightmare patches applied ?

    In one OU ive got two security groups with two group of users. In one OU ive got two gpo that deploys differend printers specified by two differend security groups. Two users from differend security groups loggins on the same computer see all printers from two security groups. It is possible to do that every user only sees own printers?

    This video is now defunct since Print Nightmare. The steps listed no longer work as described due to fixes to resolve the Print Nightmare privilege escalation issue.
    Can you post an updated video that illustrates how to deploy a printer via GPO, but also install the print driver too? Since the Print Nightmare update, Windows no longer allows non-Admins to install drivers.

    setup: 5 floor building, on each floor there is 2 printers, one on each side of the floor {east & west}.
    there are all HP LJ 4300. everyone on each floor will need access to both printers, but users on the east-side will get the east-side printer as default, and the users on the west-side will get the west-side printer as default.
    PS: on the 1st-floor there is a color printer, only a few selected users will have access, and its not set as a default.
    1) How many security groups will be needed?
    2) How can this be deploy using GPO ???

    Hello, I was wondering if an user is not listed on kansas or Sabetha, but is a member on the Group FTP (as in your example), is this user allowing to see the printers?
    I hope you could clear my doubts, thanks in advance.

    Brother would you plz explain how do we assign an IP address to the printer and how do we find the IP address of our printer in the domain environment

      You either have to set it up within the printer in its management portal (web based or a screen on the printer itself) and set it up for a static IP on whatever provides te DHCP.

    Is there a way to have a security group add multiple printers?

    • @psmn12
      @psmn12  2 роки тому +1

      Why dont you create a policy with multiple printer and than just add the people to the security group and add that group to the printer policy that will solve your problem.
