- Please help my little girl and her pony feel better and ride again! This video is very emotional about a little girl who's pony has become dangerous! This girl has become withdrawn and everyone around her has become upset, can we help repair the bond that is broken?
As someone who has been a lifelong equestrian and now a sufferer from PTSD I can wholeheartedly agree that horses can give you a special connection. When I can get back on a horse, even to walk around, it makes me so happy. It gives me hope that sometime soon I'll be able to get my life back again.
Thanks for the wonderful vid Steve!
Thank you for the wonderful video and for helping owners and horses learn to understand each other. We went through the same thing with our daughter, and it was amazing the change in her when she started horseback riding. It's like she found the key and the door was opened. Our daughter was later diagnosed with acetabular hip dysplasia. Due to her horseback riding, she was able to avoid surgery and her hip socket is now fully formed/closed. Her Orthopedic surgeon even encouraged horseback riding, because of all the benefits to the body. We also give back to the organization by sponsoring a rider and the maintenance of a horse stall, so that other kids like our daughter can experience the wonderful benefits of horseback riding. She still does therapeutic horseback riding, and always checks on her favorite horse that is now in semi-retirement. Thanks again and have a wonderful day!😀🐎
Mouth watering meal. The drink looks refreshing. Awesome results on Bug. Another fabulous video. Thank you.
I have an uncle who is epileptic and it’s really near and dear to my heart.
They do zero alcohol cider is great too, anytime of day 😊, lovely video
May I say that the introduction was perfect
Good success story. Helped pony and little girl. Thank you for sharing.
Whew! This WAS a puzzler! I had no idea at the start if Steve could reach Bug or how he would reach her. A tough dilemma to parse out, because it was horse on horse aggression, not horse on human. So Steve was a 3rd party referee, but how to get 2 horses to understand how that would work was at the heart of it working! A juggling act for sure. Trust is everything, but how to get that across when the horse was afraid of other horses? Even to understand that that was the root problem was a trick. Amazed again! Thanks Steve & Tanya!
I love you guys for doing this! It is so true for all the reasons you mentioned. What an artist she is! I’m so happy she’s happy again. God Bless her, her mom, all the wonderful people around the world that are into this! God Bless you Guys! Take care🙋🏻♀️🇺🇸🐴❤️
I am a Swedish grandmother living in Rhode Island since many years. I used to ride when I was young. I LOVE watching all your videos and how you have found a beautiful way of training horses. Also, how you and Tanya have such a beautiful marriage and get along so well. I am sure there are difficult situations at times with difficult horses, difficult people etc, but the two of you, I find is on a very high spiritual level and you rise above pettiness. To watch your videos soothes my heart.
So well said
Exactly my sentiment.
Perfectly said ❤
Beautifully and so very truthfully said Eva. I totally agree with you.
I LOVE Steve’s horsemanship and how he’s teaching us all about what to look for and what to do etc. It’s perfect, but I also REALLY LOVE Steve and Tanya’s relationship. Now that is perfect, with so much love, humour and absolute respect for each other. That’s half the journey really when you think about it.
I simply really enjoy everything about this channel.
Sending much love and thee very best of wishes from Melbourne, Australia♥️♥️
You will never live long enough to realize the hero that you've become in not just that mother and daughters eyes but so many others through them. This will carry over and they will pay it forward, you are a wonderful person. Thank you
I am not a horse person but absolutely love watching these videos. Watching those moments when the horse realises I don’t need to do this anymore. love your work.
Well, it’s not even a fairy tale really…It’s a true life story of hope and love and change!! Bless you all. ❤️❤️
Steve and Tania….you have changed this little girl’s life. Bug needed your guidance so desperately, and Mommie needed your help. You’ve saved them all through your professionalism, generosity and graciousness. Thank you for caring and sharing. ❤️❤️❤️
Steve, you pushed the moon that you hung a little bit higher. Absolutely amazing the things that you do to heal a horse! God bless you and Tanya for your kindness and generosity to those in need. 🥰
The tiny mini horse was like "who do u think you are telling me what to do!" 🤣🤣
You are so wonderful with horses. Keep helping them with your expertise. Great job.
Steve, I am so glad you are bringing Bug home with you for further work. It will be so beneficial to spend more time. Thank you for all you do.
Love you all and the peace you selflessly bestow on all creatures great and small ❌⭕️
You two are good people💕💞💓
You have a wonderful heart. Thank you for showing us the way.
This is such a nice and affirming story for neurodivergent kids. I’m autistic. Thanks so much!
As a mother of 2 autistic nonverbal kids (ages 5 and 7) this story warmed my heart. What a wonderful person you are to work so hard for this little girl.
Another great video, my son is autistic and when he was young he used to ride unfortunately he came off and he didn't want to go riding any more. And then the riding stable shut and we couldn't try to go back to get him to ride again but I am so glad that he had the opportunity to try.
I agree. That's why I like to watch him. It's part of my recovery
Thanks! The moment I saw Steve’s face - I knew I would be crying before long.
You were not on your own x
This. I’m just so grateful you are both on this planet. It’s not just speaking horse, people do that. It’s your soul. It’s your heart. And it’s something that touches many. Blessings, guys. 🙏💜
I wonder if she had a history of being low pony in the group with no real leader and has a very conditioned fear response. Poor Bug and I’m glad the pony was able to get her first chance to feel safe and comfortable at home. Maybe she’ll make a pony friend.
sounds like your reading a Children's book to us and it sounds sweet, this should be turned into a book with Steve being the hero.
Uncle Steve, absolutely love the way you controll the horses/ponies. You are with then 2 minuite and they do as you ask, beautiful.... Love watching you working..thank you darling..
🌸 Blessings darlings......
Brilliant video for training purposes. Since when do you not pull it off Steve? I have yet to see a video, that you haven't mastered the task at hand!
It doesn't mean it's all been smooth sailing or a bed of roses ... Tanya's made sure we get a glimpse of all of those priceless moments from time to time ... doesn't she Steve!?! 😁 Shall we just go ahead and call them missteps? 😂
[Pssssst ... Tanya ... maybe one-day you'll have enough footage to put together an hour's compilation of all the bloopers, over the years! 😂😉😁 LOL!]
It sounds to have been quite upsetting with all the struggles this family has gone through ... I can only imagine the difficulties of what they must have had to endure ... up until now. Hopefully life will be an easier road for them, now that the daughter's able to comfortably return to her previous interactions with her mare.
Kind of you guys to show others there can be happiness, in a world where all's not ideal. Commendable of you both for putting the family's needs ahead of your's, given we all know how limited and precious the time is for you both ... being so much in demand and all ... and I mean that most sincerely!
I didn't realize the mare's behaviour was fear-based and I see what you mean about how it appears she may have been hurt, by another pony or horse before. How sad for people not to have known the mare's true disposition.
One thing I learned today is how much horses (of all sizes) look to us for safety and protection. But then again, now that I think about it, my own pets all look to me to settle the family squabbles!
Thanks for the meal at the Pub ... it's always fun when you drag us along. I would have chosen your fish meal Steve, as I'm not sure if the chicken wings isn't also a meal in itself 😂 ... sorry Tanya your's didn't look quite as good.
Again, it's always entertaining and I so look forward to the VLOG's, of a day in the life of the Young family.
Cheerio!
Now I've seen your video, & the young lass's gifts in art & way with animals, have her please, journal/album her life's journey with her family & animals - especially Bug!! 🐎🐴. Just think she could publish her stories. Would be of immense support for others. Teared up after watching this video ♥️💕♥️
Thanks for your work with the pony 🐴🐎❤️
Powerful video,. You guys are an absolute blessing to humans, horses and ponies alike in your videos. Plus to those of us who get to watch them. Thank you and God bless you.
Steve and Tanya you are such good hearted people those children will always remember you giving her back her pony👍👏👏👏
So beautiful. Thanks for the training. ❤❤
You are a good man Steve God bless you and your family
The beginning of your story made me cry. Thank you so much for helping. I love what you do. From an old lady in Canada
Can you please show more of Bug's training when she comes to your place? This is awesome!
Poor little Bug and poor little girl who was scared of Bug cos Bug was scared. You showed Bug that the people in her life will keep her safe, and so she could relax and the circle complete again ...
Too many of us were abused as children, especially by those who were supposed to love and protect us. I wanted a horse so much, we had plenty of land , but instead I was told I had enough work to do to keep me busy. Indeed that was my life, a laborer, slapped, beaten, til by 17 yrs of this I had enough and rebelled and left . I lived on the street, worked every disgusting job no one wanted , ate out of bins and restaurant leftovers. This kind of therapy could save so many damaged children. I worked my way through college and vet school, and became a rescuer...dogs and horses, and whatever wee soul needed me. My heart horse was a 16.2 Oldenburg that had been labeled as dangerous, was abused, beaten over fences, ridden in a double twist wire snaffle...Horrible! When we went to shows he would walk beside me with his nose against my neck. He would do anything I asked of him. At 33 years of age he said he'd wait for me and died with his head in my lap. I've often heard that abused children seek to heal and become healed..I guess it's true.🥺
Much love to you ❤
Hi you two lovely beings! Just wanted to let you know that I suffer with my mental health and it is mainly the reason I sub'd to you.....watching your videos really calms my thoughts so to hear you talk about mental health just blew my mind....Never expected that....Just makes me comfirm I am in the right place and you are helping me heal.....I feel everything but it disappears when whatching you both.....Just made me love you more now x
❤❤❤

That is a lovely video. Love you and your family. God bless you all.
I'm struggling with PTSD since childhood and totally understand this little girl. My dog was fear aggressive, never bit but was protective of me. We had 18 years together. Thanks Steve for the work you do...so much more than horsemanship...
You handled this situation with love, sensitivity and practically helping/supporting. Young owner surely blossomed Lord bless for a great outcome. ❤️
How great that the little girl will get to continue her story with Bug thanks to your help! ❤️🇧🇻
Steve and Tanya, get some solar powered lights to put on top of your gate posts by the road. They would be lovely and add a special touch to your entry.
Happy tears watching the ending of the little girl being able to love on her pony again. Bug being aggressive brought you & Tanya into their lives to teach them horsemanship skills that will last a lifetime.
This one is very special. Thank you for all you do.
Equine therapy is real!! It is amazing the effect these creatures have on humans. Thank you for this video. It was very inspirational. 😊

Oh, goodness! How could I love this horse family more? Watch them rush to the aid of a priceless child. I wish I could SUBSCRIBE more than once! SHARING RIGHT NOW...🧡🧡🧡in East Tennessee, United States.
I am so glad there coming to stay with and learn more you are so generous of your time.
As you told this as a tale in the beginning, I am starting to tear up. We love our children so much, and you really make that evident as you tell the story.
Horses are therapists. My horses helped me recover from a stroke and subsequent MS diagnosis. I got off the couch with my walker and made my way to the barn. My recovery began that day. I owe my life to my horses.
Lovely video. If only more horses had access to this kind of training, there would be a lot less horses going through the slaughter pupeline.
I appreciate that you point out that the racing around you is not a continuation of aggressive behavior but her anxiety over not yet understand what you are asking or signaling. Also note that when she is doing this you are not making eye contact with her. Good lessons.
Awesome result for the pony and her humans
What an amazing story...and the hope you were able to bring to that family....such a wonderful thing. Great job and such a generous spirit.
I watched the video with tears streaming down. Steve, you are quite a story teller. You bless the people and animals you help.Thank you!
your good eggs you two....the world needs more good eggs like you two :)
Just fabulous, Steve and Tanya! I can’t wait for their visit with you guys!

Just reading all these messages and watched the intro. I just know it's going to be a awesome video. Most likely bring tears to my eyes. X
Beautiful girl to have such a special child! God bless her…
Thank you. I’d rather watch your videos than anything else except the wild horse sanctuary up near me here in AlbertA Canada
It is a good day Happy Sunday
What adorable fuzzy ponies...so wonderful what you did to help Bug, and the family.
Lovely video and a happy ending
Plus I’m happy that Steve loves his kopparberg cider strawberry and lime this is also my favourite drink love it

Steve, your positive attitude about everything is noticeable. Its helped me evaluate my own attitudes .... and become a better person. Thank you sir. 🙏
Such a wonderful feeling to know that the healing is coming around for all. Your works are amazing for " respect " towards each other can go along way! So glad the little girl has engaged once again, beautiful to see.
That is so wonderful. I’ve been looking for help with my anxiety. Such good news….
Super wonderful. God Bless.
It's quite a thing to have an effect on the equine ..which we know you can do. It's quite another thing entirely for it to resonate and be taken to heart and conscious learning for all involved..humans. thanks for bridging the gap! That's what will really make a difference for these wonderful creatures.

Storyteller🎬 Steve😄
Truly , you've woven a tale, a #PonyTale 😇
What a fella you are- and renowned ,rightly so!
Haha, "driver doesn't open the gate!" Tanya's response was valid too...being a Videographer is no piece of cake 🍰

WONDERFUL STORY 🥲🥲🥲
Thanks guyz😎
You guys are true and real horse people! Love that you can help the little girl!❤❤❤
Steve & Tanya, you are amazing people. Helping horses & humans to trust each other. You are such good role models for us all. Greetings from west of Ireland.
Great story/video! Love you guys. ❤
I have a son with ASD and part of his therapy is Equine Therapy. The confidence he has developed through horses is astounding. Horses are the best. Thank you both for all you do for and with these beautiful animals.
I’m so touched by your compassion - both of you. You two are both living your purpose and changing the world as you help horses and ponies heal and help people understand how to continue that healing. I love you guys!!!!
As you say, a very sensitive situation when dealing with a child. I loved the story at the beginning; you were speaking the language of children and to the child in me. What a worthwhile endeavour. Congratulations to mom for reaching out to help her little girl, even when she didn't expect her message even to get read. And, by God, Steve and Tanya, you stepped up to the plate in stellar fashion! This little video is a huge teaching lesson to anyone who sees it, in so many ways. You couldn't have shared one bit of this without mum's permission, and the fact that she wanted this story to be shared for the benefit of others is another reason to say, "Well done, Mom!" And Thank You, Steve and Tanya.
You are so sweet to help this family with their pony. I know the little girl is glad to have her friend back again. Thank you for your generosity of time and helping them so much. I really like your videos. You are right about horses helping people. I don't know what it is about them but they do make you feel better. I know mine would take the stress out of my day. I am not sure why horses help us feel better but they do. Sometimes I think it is the concentration we have to use around them that makes us forget about what bothers us. Once again a beautiful story with a beautiful ending. I think the fellow in the your story is a prince.
Just a fabulous video. You make such a difference in so many peoples & horses lives. Animals are healers for people if people will give them a chance.
Absolute Respect to you both...think of the Wake of people you are EFFECTING. A massive new generation of new people.....
So lovely, I can’t even train my chihuahua 🤦♀️
It’s because we are only staff to our little chihuahuas..lol
I’m so happy that you’re wearing a mic. I could understand 100% of what you were saying. Great video.
I love watching your videos. I am definitely getting a better understanding of horse behavior. I love how you love the horses. You treat them with regard. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
You're a wonderful storyteller❤
