Thank you. By the way, "ducking" is really the wrong word for the last technique you showed. Nothing is being moved "out of the way" of something else that needs to be heard better. It is simply a pitch signal that is being altered by an env signal.
Really interesting, cheers Omri! The ‘pitch ducking’ I find particularly interesting. I wonder, would it also work between the quantizer and V/oct input to create smooth bends?
Never knew about comparators! Going straight to my modular grid to add one to my dream set up. Really great tips - wanted to know for ages how to use the mimeophon to create glitched bits like that. Thanks you are a wonderfully talented musician with an infectious passion for what you do.
I appreciate it, thanks so much :) If you're planning to have also a 1U row in your case, have a look at the comparator from Ritual Electronics. I have it for a while now, and use it quite often. It has a bi-polar output that is great for audio signals :)
@@Jroberts43275 I love using it with drums and also with voices after effects. It's great as another layer of dirt. But, I will also use it to add movement to "simple" waveforms by converting them into pulse waves with the comparator, and adding movement by modulating the threshold.
hey man, how you doing? i hope you doing well, so for organizing purposes i've been searching the video that you talk about the cables, like for example, the red is for audio get it ? but i cant seem to find, so if you could tell me what video is, or tell me here (about the cables) that would be cool man, as always i apreciate your work, greetings from brazil.
Thank you 🙏
Cheers!
I'll have to try those.
Thx!
Omri, thank you so much for these priceless videos.
Cheers!
Very intertesting, thanks for sharing ... keep it comming ;-)
Cheers!
Amazing tricks, really appreciate your melody focused approach of modular, please continue to explore that !
Thanks so much!
Very useful and informative, amazing as always, thanks!
Thanks so much!

True :) Cheers!
Great as usual. You can prevent the clicks in your glitch example with a short slew limiter on the wet/dry modulation.
Thanks!
@@OmriCohen-Music Not really worth doing in hardware but they're cheap in VCV!
nice tricks
Cheers!
as always, thank you very much Omri
Thanks again!

Thanks! Yes, totally. You can create portamento and glide that way.
@@OmriCohen-Music I bet you could combine those last two techniques quite effectively too!

@@OmriCohen-Music thanks for the tip no 1U for the moment, but perhaps in the future...! How do you use it with audio signals out of interest? Thanks!

Very nice looking forward to 2023 videos and patron content.
Thanks so much :)
Very nice 🎛🎹🎚🎶🚀🌌
Any one else having issues with the new Surge modules not updating in VCV 2 Pro latest update on Mac OSX
the glitches are awsome,,,gonna try it right away !😘
Have fun!
@@OmriCohen-Music im definitly having more fun than my cpu!
Amazing indeed, ducking pitch is a wondeful invention ! So obvious once you know about it :) Thanks !
Glad you liked it!
Great video (again) Omri. In fact it was so good I never got to the end, instead I went off to try out the ideas on my set up 😉.
Thanks for the tips.
Awesome! Thank you!
Every day is a school day. Even all these years later! Thanks for the new learning.
Thanks so much!

Hey, thanks! I never made a video specifically about that but basically Red=Audio, Green=Modulation, Blue=Gates\Triggers\Clocks, Yellow=V/OCT
Cheers!
@@OmriCohen-Music tnks ma man! One love, your videos are awesome! ❤️
