I just got this bow. My very first. Pretty excited about. Haven't shot it yet due to an injury, but will be able to in the next week or two. Seems like it should be a real first bow. I certainly hope so.
Hi! I just bought this bow and im new to compound bows. Could yo please explain in witch order to change draw length, i dont want to make anything wrong touching the wrong bolts. Trying to understand the manual but im not geting any clever. Thanx in advance.
That's what I want to know. I dont need the package, but if either is better made in one way or the other I'd like to know. So I can either save 100 dollars and get the same bow, or spend 100 dollars more and know why.
i just spent $980 for a new 2022 resurgence ready to hunt, $629.99 for the bow $67.50 for 6 custom made arrows, a $65 release that is adjustable and flips away from the hand so its not in the way when you arent shooting, $100 for an archery lesson when the bow is setup, and $65 for setup from a professional archery shop....plus tax have to wait till they order it and set it up but im curious did i over pay as a first time archer? The person i talked to had over 30 trophies on his wall and about 20 in his case and was extremely knowledgeable about a great many aspects of archery assured me i was better off there then at a big box store that only tunes bows by using a spread sheet and that this bow would be custom tailored to fit me with the utmost care, he seemed honest and like he wasnt out ot gouge my pocket and he made me feel like taking the extra time to educate me on everything was important to him and said knowing about everything will help me more in the long run when it comes to practicing and getting better. he took my measurments, explained proper form and i spent 4 hours there yesterday. Over all i was happy with the experience and it was alot less anxiety inducing than i thought it was going to be... he said turn around on picking up my new beast was between 1 and 5 weeks depending on how long it takes the manufacturer to send it to them and in hindsight i feel like i didnt just pay for a bow i paid to have my bow tuned by one of the most experienced archers in the country and then when its all said and done im going to develop good habits and have a bow that is perfectly sighted to me. the only thing i didnt get to do was try out any bows in the store to see what felt best, i picked out 3 bows i thought id like ahead of time ( other choices were the PSE Drive NXT, and the Bear Legit Fred Bear Special Edition in grey)went there told them my picks and after taking my measurements(28 inch draw with 1/2 inch D loop) that the 32 inch axle to axle would fit me the best.... all 3 of the other people there agreed id enjoy the resurgence the best out of all of them and that it shoots sooooooo good for a mid range bow....what do you guys think? good purchase decision or ripped off as dropping a grand on a bow seems pretty steep for a first timer? so far im happy with everything but just asking to make sure...
I just bought one and was about $860 otd with everything necessary to hunt. Pretty much the same price you paid minus the $100 lesson which was probably very helpful!! I’m just getting back into compound bow hunting so I wanted someone who knows what their doing to set it up right.
I just found this bow in an auction house/store… I got it brand new for $275.. I thought it was just some cheap bow until I looked it up.. then I couldn’t pass it up. It still has factory stickers on it. I’m happy with it

They need to put the fix 5 sight on it
With peep and loop! Compared to other bows you testet without any string Attachments This bow is about 305 fps....Quick!
Looks like this will be a good bow from bear
Great review as always. That limb stop option, is something that comes this it and one can install it or not? Thanks

Is the Bear Alaskan and the resurgence the same bow. The resurgence is a package deal

It’s the same bow. They change the name so they can sell it online in a package deal.
Could You compare the resurgence to the Amplify by Bowtech ? Which would you rather have?
One major difference between the two is the amplify has plastic limb pockets and the bear has aluminum. Hope that helps

If your happy with the set up a good coach and quality set up is a good thing.
@@MikesArchery i was def. happy, i just heard you say 1k for a bow while watching this and i was like wait did i over pay?
Most high end bows cost over $1000 just for the bow.

That bow looks like my Bear Paradox HC 2021 model
Good review videos
Good option. Thanks

Why such significant drop of the speed from advertised?
IBO-Test is done with 70#, 30" draw, 350 grain arrow, without any String attachments. The rearly IBO speed at This bow is somewhere around 330 fps.
@@psav7 thank you for the response. I'm as green as it gets with bows, so I'm learning.
Where are you located
We are in Southern Ohio.
@@MikesArchery how close to Columbus
@@randallbair5860 about 2 1/2 hrs south.
@@MikesArchery might have to check you guys out I’m sure there’s pro shops in Columbus
the peep is not set rite for a no t peep
Pretty simple to have a bow tech move that, it would take probably 5 minutes
I am a man with muscles but 25,5" is not short enough, so technically you are calling me a woman or kid :)
I was feeling bad for my 27in draw lenght xD how tall are you?
@@yuri_lhr About 163 cm ;) But correct question would be how short i am. :)
Its'a cast riser
Most bows / even flagship bows are cast & then forged.... Few are forged from a chunk of billet
45-60 lbs draw weight for women and children? great publicity for hunters! who the fook will buy it now?! fook!
