Any idea about timberline pants? Go size up on them too?

Yes! Well, I’m my case anyway, I have a bit larger thighs so going one size larger is perfect.
The safe play would be to make sure you don’t rip the tags off once you get the pants and try them on. I know that’s super inconvenient, but it’s the best option.
Their customer service is great so swapping sizes is usually very easy… so long as your desired item is in stock.

You covered the knee pads in detail except how they go in. If they are inserted from the bottom of the pant, its a bad design, the velcro will fail and you'll end up having rhe knee pads fall out. if they are inserted from the top (WHICH THEY SHOULD) it wont be a problem, and I cannot find out the answer on ANY review on youtube.

They do go in from the bottom below the knee BUT I have also worn 4-5 pairs of these pants hundreds of times in the last couple years and never had any issues with them slipping out at any point!
Of all the times I have removed the knee pads, washed the pants and reinserted the pads, not once have I had them get loose, slip or wiggle out.
Honestly these are made to last, not replace. You won’t have that issue.
