Contemporary Marching Band - Grade 3
Written for the Japanese anime series “Cowboy Bebop,” this blazing theme has taken on a life of its own! Slightly quirky, but definitely bombastic, this chart is sure to create a buzz!

My pep band is learning this right now, and it sounds SO fun but we are absolutely STRUGGLING
I played the jazz version of it and it is so much harder
we're doing this on field ITS SO SICKKKK
3, 2, 1, let's jam.
they missed the opportunity to add that part
Nah didn’t, if you start it from right after the beginning it lines up, doesn’t sound right but you can still include it lol
Paul Murtha always drops bangers
I'm glad this exists, but I would love a version with the quads taking on even half of what the bongos and congas are up to in the original recording.
this song is one of my favorite pep band songs we perform in the stands
we’re playing this is the stands. i play first trumpet and i literally love this
Same man, We actually are playing this in the stands and in our actual show this year, its gonna be awesome
"thank you paul murtha" we all say in unison
I’ve waited for this for so long!
try 17 years
I remember playing this song in grade 5 band. Everyone loved it.
all winds: grade 4
percussion: grade 2
this is why i hate stock arrangements
Likely because this was made for Highschool bands and community Orchestras
I just suggested this for my jazz band director and can’t wait to see if he’ll let us do this
This is what every jazz band student dreams of.
@zorasmith4880 a couple of years ago one kid in my jazz band kept begging the director to play tank, and eventually we did for like 2 days before stopping. Now, the year after he graduated, we're playing this at all our halftime shows
THIS IS SO COOL OMG
My Jazz Band git this piece today and we could play like the first page of music.
This is a Sax Heavy shong, I was excited to see it was created but...Give the Saxes some love.
We are playing this its so fun :3
*com certeza muitos vão tocar esse arranjo* 👏👏👏
NO WAAAAAAY
Awesome
This is awesome!
Oh hell yeah
where is the "3, 2, 1, let's jam"????
you risk it and scream it before playing
I just got this for marching band
It’s perfect on 1.25x speed
Can’t wait to march this lol
They've been using a lot of virtual drum line recently. It's not bothering me but it's just interesting
Not too shabby. Definitely wasn’t expecting it to be in F minor!
The tenors in this recording sound crispy
Virtual Drumline
Bro the beginning sounds like zavodila 0:05
better to think of it the other way round, this song is 20 years older than zavodila
Im pretty sure it was inspired by Tank which was put out in like the 90s
Bro I want to play this in pep band!!! Sigh
goes so hard

Oh you can’t just leave out the high trumpet part
The original arrangement was already in c minor why he add another flat?😮😅
No clue
That's a good point. Usually arrangements from Hal Leonard are commonly written in the key of Bb major, F major, Ab major and E flat major. It's very odd tbh I agree
i honestly would like the saxes to have the melody, like the real song.
please do sunroof.

Why not do this in the original key
Tank is a pretty advanced piece; this key and overall arrangement is easier for a high school marching band to play
