Man I love how Craig gives exactly zero shits about producers, sponsors, or even the audience. He literally just chats to famous people for 30 minutes every day.
No disputing that Craig is the only talk shot host(on in America, don't know UK) with actual people skills. He can just talk and joke around with these people, like they are hanging out. He can try too hard for laughs, and be repetitive, but he never loses the people skills. And these bigwigs take not. Case in point, Ford. Who is A-List talent and god-awful talk show guest. Except here. He was out looking to have fun from the get-go. And so Craig smoothly joked, bantered, and asked good questions about Ford's flying hobby. YOu know something Ford would enjoy talking about. Same with Tweto. She is kinda silly, but Craig clearly has a great personal fondness for her and vice-versa So, they have these engagingly genuine Uncle-and-favorite-Niece segments. And that's why craig rules.
I think Harrison Ford is absolutely wonderful. I have had a huge crush on him since childhood. He is down to earth. I think he does great at interviews. He is not full of himself like some stars do.
Seeing Harrison Ford on Craig's show is just awesome! Every time he's on Letterman, it's mostly awkward silence and Letterman makin cracks like "Well, I'm sorry you couldn't be here tonight, Harrison". Craig KNOWS how to talk to Harrison and mess around with him whereas Letterman IMO just doesn't do a good job at ALL! Been a Craig fan for 10 yrs, all the other hosts (besides Conan and sometimes Kimmel) suck.
Vinny H. No way, Craig dismisses all the questions that you know other hosts will ask and brings the guests to an area of slight discomfort, forcing them to behave in a more realistic way while keeping the audience laughing.
Cheryl C _ good comment on Letterman about how he always sticks to that shtick he used throughout his career. I can see the appeal of that, but it's not for me. Craig has his shtick, although he usually knows when to break from it. The conversations he had with Heather Graham come to mind. Heather Graham is pretty chill. She has this likability to her.
Wow, this is the most animated and engaging I've ever seen Harrison Ford in a talk show setting. Usually he seems so stiff & uncomfortable and only responds to questions in monosyllables. Someone should ask him about flying more often! It was cool hearing him talk about autorotation, and that Pratt & Whitney really is a great engine (most likely)!
27:11 “Where’s the most interesting place you’ve landed an airplane?” All he had to do was wait another year or two to ask the question and he would have got the perfect answer: “A golf course.”
Hands down Harrison Ford rules the roost for the most intimidating awkward pause ever in the history of the show!........(oh and the history of awkward pauses) Craig actually looks scared for a moment there🥴
Ok everyone... listen up!... Harrison Ford HATES being on talk shows. I think it's a social anxiety but I'm not too sure. But that's why he's not relaxed in these situations
You know what? I am so glad you said this. People are being so pathetic most of the times, like why did they even come here? Just to put some hate comments? How ridiculous, because if they really don't like Harrison, why even bother click the video thumbnail... "Sometimes I just don't understand human behavior," -C3PO
Is nobody going to bring up the prettiest young woman in the world ? OMG she is SO down to earth and fun. I don’t have much of a bucket list but going out with her is #1. I love you, Ariel. 🙋🏻♂️
You said this 8 years ago but you are right. Some people say he is rude but I just think he doesn’t enjoy all of the BS that comes with movie promotion. Good interviewers like Craig brought the best out of him
I feel like of all the late night hosts that have been off the air for a long time, Craig is one that could pretty easily come back and do pretty good. I love the feel of the show, and it's fitting for being the show that would follow Letterman, or now Colbert if he came back. He probably would have zero interest in returning but he would be a refreshing change.
There's a channel called "The Jay Leno Fly" ... I'm not 100% sure, but he certainly has some sort of compilation on Michael being 'mercilessly mocked' by Craig. The channel has an awesome collection of compilations.
Crazy, looking back now after that crazy crash he just had - Craig asked him all these airplane questions and if he ever crashed and the most interesting place he's ever landed a plane. I guess that answer now is a golf course.
Bummed out that Craig missed the opportunity to ask Harrison Ford if he purchased the DeHavilland Beaver before or after he did the film "Six Days Seven Nights" (in which he flies one), and whether his ownership of one influenced it being in the movie.
Someone screwed up on that monologue research math, Craig :) ► Filmed: Cocoon (1985) ► Born: Anthony Wilford Brimley - September 27, 1934 ► Age: Wilford Brimely: 51 / = 49... yet in the spirit of things, I'll say /close enough/...
The helicopter Ford 'broke' well 'control crashed' that is what auto-rotating is after all, was a Bell 206 JetRanger that smashed into a dry river bed sustaining heavy damage, so yeah he broke a $1M helicopter in that crash.
Harrison Ford is always so soft spoken and quiet but this is the great thing about Craig's show. He doesn't WANT to talk about whatever they are supposed to promote (that 90% of the actors do not want to talk about either) and just has a regular conversation with them, talking about stuff they care about. He is far more animated here than he is on most of his appearances.
Beth no longer on the show doesnt means she's fired. So you're saying Bone Patrol was fired after 1 week? CBS I assumed paid them to perform for a week on TLLS. You remember Bone Patrol? I'm a regular viewer as well
She could have been hired just for a few weeks (and, thus, was not fired.. He contract expired). The actress that played Beth was the same woman that voiced the Rhino. So, maybe she's doing something else on the show now (like writing).
Never seen Harrison Ford smile so much during an interview. Well, that's Craig for you.
Man I love how Craig gives exactly zero shits about producers, sponsors, or even the audience. He literally just chats to famous people for 30 minutes every day.
Easily the most relaxed I've ever seen Harrison Ford on a talk show. Well done Craig!
+Vyselink craig was so good
+Vyselink What other talk show host can talk about airplanes in detail?!?
I don't man. I think he was very nervous.
@@ahmedabdelazeem9690 nope
@@spacini don't nope me.
Craig was simply the best late night host ever.
"It's commercial break. Get busy watchin, and get busy buyin...crap."
I miss this show.
Best sincere awkward pause goes to Mr. Ford.
No one does conversation like Craig.
Many do, actually.
Λαυρέντιος Ψαροκάηκας

@@vardellsfolly5200No, actually, they don't.
@@cooperonline *Yes*, actually, they do.

Craig: Movie looks good.
Harrison: Movie is good!
:D
Playing "awkward pause" with Harrison Ford is like "playing fetch" with a bear.
it worked
I wish Craig Ferguson was still on late late night!
The randomness of Craig and Geoff banter is one of things that made this show great
No disputing that Craig is the only talk shot host(on in America, don't know UK) with actual people skills. He can just talk and joke around with these people, like they are hanging out. +hey12358y In the UK, Graham Norton is pretty good with people skills.
Apparently you've never watched Conan O'Brien or you just have horrid taste.
Craig has great chemistry with all his guests. Just love him.
He was the best Late late night show host
I think Harrison Ford is absolutely wonderful. I have had a huge crush on him since childhood. He is down to earth. I think he does great at interviews. He is not full of himself like some stars do.
I also have had a crush on him also. I love Harrison Ford.
Craig was the best, I wish he and Geoff came back to Late Night!
"have you ever broken an air plane?".... this was 2013 lol!
Harrison Ford is a fucking legend.

Cheryl C really conan sucks ?? Sorry dude but your opinion is shit
Brilliant. Craig's last line was Brilliant! OMG!
Harrison Ford actually seemed to enjoy himself on this show.

As a private pilot myself I love this episode so much, I'd love to go flying with Craig would be such a fun time.
Ariel seems like the sweetest person to ever walk the earth. What an adorable gal!
27:11 “Where’s the most interesting place you’ve landed an airplane?” All he had to do was wait another year or two to ask the question and he would have got the perfect answer: “A golf course.”
Crash landed*
That was a 1930s plane, engine fail. Its like staying airborne in a model T chitty chitty bang bang.
Or the taxiway...
The good news is I ONLY have to go back in time ten years to remember what it was like for late night TV to make me cry laughing.
Harrison Ford is the man! And how sweet of him to give Ariel that necklace thing. Ariel is a sweetheart, too.
The monologue alone is worth the price of admission!😅
Ford did that awkward pose like a god damn motherfucking bad ass.
I’m sure your mother is proud of you.

i had no idea what they were talking about... but i was entertained anyway.
Ariel is adorable, and so sweet, and goofy like a cartoon character!
At 38.21 I laughed so hard when seeing Geoff and Secretariat in the control room, I would watch there show any day. " Great Humor."
Never seen that chick before, but she's absolutely adorable.

I guarantee that if Harrison Ford is watching the show behind stage, he is probably thinking.... "What the hell has my agent gotten me into...?" 🤣
No, he's smoking a ton of weed. He's high as a kite
"I was wearing this the whole time..." classic Harrison :D
Loved this show. Happy to see HF just chat about airplanes.
Eric Boreen Harrison Ford, the Jew-God!!!Sorry,you losers! You wish you were!!!!!!
Gemeral dis Indica or Sativa?
Harrison Ford wants the FAA to choose wisely on how they spend their discretionary budget. What happens if they choose...poorly?
holy shit I havent laughed this hard, this much in a long time
This is an absolute man's conversation
Hilarious monologue. 😂 😂 Really miss Craig
I really liked this show, the guests were really good and Craig seemed to have a lot of fun during the monologue! Thanks for posting! :D
love the quality of these videos. Thanks man.
Such a good awkward pause!
How prophetic! 'Have you ever broken an airplane?'
Age certainly got to Ford. But I can still see clearly the image of Han Solo and Indiana Jones in him. Still as charismatic and charming as ever...
I like how Harrison Ford is in interviews.
You said this 8 years ago but you are right. Some people say he is rude but I just think he doesn’t enjoy all of the BS that comes with movie promotion. Good interviewers like Craig brought the best out of him
Its so sad to see the news her dad just passed away after seeing how happy she was in this show. Heartbreaking stuff

I want an out-takes reel showing all the times when Michael at the control station has to fight for air between laughs.
There's a channel called "The Jay Leno Fly" ...
I'm not 100% sure, but he certainly has some sort of compilation on Michael being 'mercilessly mocked' by Craig.

Awesome aviation themed show. :)
he is a cool old man still got the same personality. stop calling him out
Incredible monologue!
Awesome episode. Craig rules and Harrison / Ariel contrasted well.
R.I.P. Han Solo!! (sniffles) You surely will be missed!
3:45 Nice catch, Mike!
Crazy, looking back now after that crazy crash he just had - Craig asked him all these airplane questions and if he ever crashed and the most interesting place he's ever landed a plane. I guess that answer now is a golf course.
I know the most interesting place he's ever landed! Pen Mar golf course near LA. lol
I like how he does a long riff about Movie Stars being crazy whilst he himself is in conversation with a skeleton with glowing blue eyes.
Harrison and Ariel made the show great
OMG - what an interview/er!!
Harrison Ford. Great actor!
Bummed out that Craig missed the opportunity to ask Harrison Ford if he purchased the DeHavilland Beaver before or after he did the film "Six Days Seven Nights" (in which he flies one), and whether his ownership of one influenced it being in the movie.
Cause he's awesome!
I don’t know who Ariel Tweto is, but she’s adorable.
She's from a very small Alaskan town and her parents have an aviation company of some kind. There's a Discovery show about it.
God I wish he was still on...
What is the word Craig uses when he introduces the email from Hawaii?
Why does Harrison Ford always looks like his son just told him that he's gay? XD
+Chase H Because you're his son?
I don't think I've ever read a more apt description of his attitude.
I see him hanging off the edge of a roof looking for something to cling to.
Because Craig Ferguson is Indiana Jones of talk shows.
Love craig, What is that funcky song @ 19:41???
Geoff peterson is hilarious
Awesome monologe! Anyone know the song at 19:50 (if it is a "real" song)?
27:12 "And on that bush flight, I guess the landing strip was very tight/narrow/moist/on fire?" How could Mr. SupaCreepy let that one pass by?
wow is ariel's a alaskan accent? never heard one before. so cool.
I think Harrison Ford only likes to act when he is acting. Good for him by the way.
Well said....
Nice and Valid point....
I'm sure ive seen craig up the dancing on a Friday night in Glasgow back in the day
Harrsion Ford is always really stoned on late night television.
can you elaborate? i feel like im a regular viewer but i dont remember her getting fired :(
Gangnam Style got NOTHIN' on Craig!
Someone screwed up on that monologue research math, Craig :)

Hey I am a pilot too, and just got my commercial license! Can I be on The Late Late Show?
20:21 Harrison Ford enters.
yes!
"Where's the most interesting place you've landed an airplane?"
Well, now we sure know the answer to that question in hindsight.
It's a great day for America.

he's not a bad guest he's just incredibly stoned. xD

That's what I thought too. Like he had a couple of benzos half an hour before the show 😊...
27:13 Probably taxiway Charlie in Santa Ana

How the hell did he get Harrison Ford on the show?!
Is he high? or is this a bit, because I cant tell.
He has big time anxiety
definitely high, i chuckled when he walked out onto the stage. he looked so lost hahaha
