Yuja is truly a phenomenal pianist. I heard No. 1 a while ago. And, now, No. 4. Okay, when can I hear the rest, Nos. 2, 3 and 5? She is just amazing.

I heard her playing live Beethoven's "Hammerklavier", The Hunt"- sonata, the first two piano concertos as a pianist/conductor. Unfortunately I misses his op.111 played by her. She's a fantastic Beethoven-player! ❤

op.111 is the most profound. I guess Yuja will play it when she is in her 40's, maybe 50'. Btw, her interpretion on op. 106 is amazing.

It's not for purists. I never laughed in whole my life listining to a piano concerto composed by whom ever it might be.
May be Beethoven himself dreamed about such an interpretation. Very bold, full on phantasie, heroic and sometimes cocky.....😄😇❤
