Same with me but for smaller form factor like a mini 8.7", the 1340 x 800 is more than adequate. Of course that's different if it was iPad sized (11").
I have the Mipad 5 but carrying that every day for work was a chore, so I buy this even though I was worried about the storage, soc and also the screen. After a month I use it way more than my Mipad 5. I don't game tho, only youtube and novels aside from work.

The 10.4 inch regular version is still a better choice for most people when it come to media consumption purposes. Anyway unless people want to use their tablets for note taking,creativity and light office work as well there isn't really a need to buy the currently much more expensive top of the line tablet models. The next big incremental increase and development for smartphones and tablets will likely come in the next decade time which by then consumers will have a more valid reason to buy the next generation of tabs and smartphones where people will have a new definition of what tablets and smartphones can do by then. Currently tabs and phones can't run ps3 and ps4 level of gaming performance but ten years later it should be common place and a new landscape by then.

It should be able to run apps that you download from the Google play store, so yes. For a primary device, the storage is very low, even if you choose the pricier 64 gb version.

For a 8.7 inch screen with such low resolution, you can definitely notice the text are more pixellated when you are reading. Watching videos with such resolution is still acceptable, if you are not picky that some scenes might look a bit washed out

Personally I never have devices get slower on me even lower end devices. If you're really curious about the performance I suggest checking nanoreview and comparing it to a SoC that you have a good reference point on. AnTuTu 9 GPU looks to be at almost 25K which is quite low, but the resolution is also 800p so that should be considered as well.
@@dbjungle the only comparison i can get is t618 vs sd870, and still t618 lose by miles, actually i'm also waiting for dimensity 8100 or 9000. I see the benchmark and real test is pretty good, even better than sd 8 gen 1
I was playing roblox in my new realme pad mini it was decent in heavy games and CPU and GPU works and gameplay isnt thst smooth but playable and the battery is long enough for 1 day in light usage and display in gaming is pretty sharp

I bought the iPad Mini 6 in November because there were no small Android tablets with decent specs. The Realme Pad Mini just further proves that point. I hate iOS, but there was just really no other option for decent performance in a small tablet. Thankfully now we have the Lenovo Legion Y700 atleast. Realme initially said they wouldn't update the original Realme Pad to the next Android version and had to walk that back. They probably won't update the Mini just due to the price point. So it's coming with Android 11 roughly 7 months after the release of Android 12 and will likely never see Android 12. If you don't mind iOS then the iPad would be a much better buy. The Realme Pad Mini nails a lot of things with build quality, but the storage options, display and performance just aren't enough. Alternatively you could buy a larger tablet if you don't mind those. The original Realme Pad is leaps and bounds ahead of this one.

The recording was done in real-time as you can see in the video. Before you make these sort of false accusations/assumptions, I strongly advice you watch closely when I made the interactions on the tablet and synced it with the recording.

Its only certified for widevine L3, meaning content will only play at max 480p. For such a big display, 480p video will look blurry

Tab A7 Lite dan Nokia T20 buat masa ni cuma ada Widevine L3 jadi hanya dapat support SHD. Realme Pad ada Widevine L1 boleh support FHD
