i get the album, i can´t tell why, but it´s very difficult see the album in stores on Portugal, only Suede albuns, this album is very great ,good sound and melody .
I agree on the fact that his music would have a use a bit more edge to it. But maybe this is the road he's deliberately chosen, to make a bit more romantic, yet serious pieces. But this song's got some potential, I only hope it won't be one of the few in the next record.
This song seems to be inspired by music from the assassination scene from 'The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford.' It has a similar chord structure and tempo. I like this rough version, although I am looking forward to the studio version.
