My little brother smashed my xbox remote and the nintendo switch controllers because he raged when he lost fortnite matches. When I went to get my savings to replace the remotes, I noticed it was gone and later I found out that my mother had taken it. Each time I confronted my brother about the damages, he always tried to gaslight me shift the blame on *My* anger issues (yes I have anger issues but I hit my punching bag instead of anything else when I got angry) and when I confronted my mother about the money, she would deny taking it and just say I spent it all on something I bought a year or two ago. Then they would both get angry when I didn't have working controllers for gaming or money to replace them- There's no winning when it comes to a crazy family.

The child support one is one of my pet peeves for real. It's in the name what that money is supposed to go for the child! That does not mean you as the parent get to spend the money on yourself or your partner. It's not for the parent to buy clothes, shoes, nails or whatever else they want. I get using a bit of the child support to pay a bit of a bill in an emergency so the kids have a safe place to live. But that is not to be a regular thing. This infuriates me to no end and is not right on any level.
