@@sariel8406 it's not true. BH clearly stated that they'll be back all together as a group in 2025. So, in the meantime they will release their solo projects then proceeding to serve in the military.
In order for them to all return in 2025, they will have to enlist a few months apart. The Korean Army is 18 months, the Navy is 20 months and the Air Force is 22 months I believe. Suga turns 30 a few months from now on March 9 2023.

Sometimes when the video is being shot, when things happen that may disrupt the layout of the video, those parts are also cut off. But I think it is pointless to look for such a subordinate meaning for a 2 second interruption. The rest of Jimin's parts is not cut and the person who edited this video can't do any harm to Jimin as they cut 2 seconds of Jimin

This Run BTS performance was a big surprise for us ARMYS by them because it is a new masterpiece without any mv won so many hearts for its energetic and addictive effect.
This is the first time BTS perform Run BTS live complete with a dance choreo...thanks to the Busan concert.

I'm here a year later watching this "reacting to BTS" and I was disappointed by their reactions and laughter!

I saw your choreo reaction and I could feel the sarcasm when you talked about them getting exempted so wanted to give some perspective - in 2018 (BEFORE they hit huge in the US) BTS brought in 3+ BILLION USD to Korea's GDP. Estimates for 2020 is 5+ BILLION and 1 in every 16 tourists, travels to Korea SOLELY for BTS. The exemption was being considered bc the gov did not want to lose that revenue. For the record, classical musicians and some athletes get an exemption.
BTS was also being used by the government - the mayor of Busan (where this world expo took place) showed up at one of the member's parents house to ask BTS to perform. IMMEDIATELY after this concert, BTS enlisted - it's all conjecture but IMO there is NO way this (free, unsafe) concert was not something BTS was coerced into. The gov was going to spend another year "deliberating" and I think the members just got fed up with enlistment being held over their heads.

BTS is also very much political capital. Head of states ask after them. The UN asked if BTS could fit in a visit and a speech for their SDG (= Social Development Goals) Moment of the UNGA - it was their third "visit" (2018, 2020, 2021) and they also had a performance of one of their songs.
The wife of the last SK president brought guest gifts to Saudi Arabia: a pop-up book of "Baby Shark" and special Collector's Edition dolls of BTS in Hanbok.

1:27 jungkook is the one you mentioned something about Michael Jackson about and the one who started the song off. He’s the main vocalist, lead dancer, only vocalist who is also a sub rapper , and he’s the “center” of BTS which means he’s front and center the most. His energy is always top tier… and his live vocals just hit different. Should check out “main vocalist jungkook” by ida s … but ppl say his live performance of “my time” is Michael Jackson vibes for sure . Jimin also gets compared to MJ bc of the way he dances… seriously so smooth and strong… his dancing is insane. Honestly they’re all good dancers and top tier performers.
You won’t know any songs… but two of their probably biggest live stages … are from awards shows. There’s the MMA 2018 BTS performance… but also the MMA 2019 is the GOAT performance! The MMA 2018 performance is 3 songs… MMA 2019 is 4 group performances, 1 solo rap performance and then all of them have mini intro stages to remixes of different songs …. And the entire performance at that award show for 2019 is actually 37 minutes long… always shocks people … should check that out unless you’re going to actually start to learn more about the guys and their music/journey. Up to you .
BTS never had an official center. Not every group needs one. (They also dropped the titles a few years ago out of official content.)
I'm with Namjoon that every member is worth 5% of BTS success.
The rest is perfect (well... Ida S. should be taken with a grain of salt - she is going into solo territory and a little naive.). 💜
@@ruthfischer7615 Not sure what point you are making here. Namjoon is the groups leader officially and has alot of resposibilities with it and the guys mention it often. Same as Jungkook, he officially has the title of Main Vocal and BTS members have mentioned that numerous times recently. It also has a lot of resposibility with that position. Hobi is dance leader as well as main dancer along with Jimin. Each position has responsibilities, they are not empty titles, but help the team to work efficiently. It does not mean that the other members dont have their own strengths to bring to the team. So hype your bias as much as you like, they deserve it, but dont forget to respect all of the members and what they contribute to the amazing team called BTS
And P.S. BTS choreograher Son D, said Jungkook was the centre of choreography, was why he did training in US before debut, as the centre brings balance to the team.
@@hannag3821 I agree Mr. Son said interviewed centre brings balance to the team and more information, in the early days of Big Hit difficult time their financial, Hitman Bang mentioned if do hip-hop music then only one of the seven BTS members should go to the US. after sample JK, it's culture of HPYE all trainees go to US for training.
Still JK will more line in centre some song but now this day BTS balance their individual in a songs and choreo, they focus their potential more than positions

Actually this is called "Run BTS", not "Run" because the next song they did after this was "Run". Also, they did this right after "MicDrop". This song "Run BTS" is off their latest album Proof - CD2. "Run" is an earlier BTS song that has an MV. "Run BTS" is a new favorite of mine and the choreography is nuts!!
Even though they'll be going to military, there are a number of solo albums we are still expecting. Starting with Jin's solo/collab single that he will be performing live with ColdPlay in Buenos Aires on the 28th. Jin is the oldest so he will be first to start the enlistment process. But, we are also waiting on solo albums from RM, Jimin, Suga, Jungkook and V. We already got J-Hope's earlier this year called Jack in the Box. We don't know the schedule after Jin, but RM had said previously he thought his would be next. Hmmm. We shall see. I personally think they've probably filmed enough content to get us through 2023 at least, and then there is so much back content that I know I haven't seen that will surely take me through 2024. So, 2025 when they return as a group will be here in no time.
The first guy you noticed is actually Jungkook and not V. And yeah, He kinda is the Michael Jackson of Korea. JK is the youngest of the team, joining at age 15 (13 -US age) so basically the other members raised him and he sees them as his older brothers just like Michael had when he started. Also, he is the member that is the most musically incline and can recognize and match any pitch perfectly. Michael could not read music nor did he play instruments but he certainly made incredible music. I truly believe that JK has contributed so much to BTS just like all of the members 😘💜💜💜

But jk does most of the vocal guides, adlibs, harmonies, doubling under the other members, etc. Then he has to do most of the mixing so that their songs sound cohesive since they all have different voices. (You can go check out dj swivel breaking down magic shop production and see jk has more than 8 extra sections to do on top of main vocals and under the other members). Which is why rm, jimin, v, etc have all said multiple times how important of a role jk plays and how they couldn't do it without him. So please stop spouting all your incorrect information on every comment. When you dont know what youre talking about then just dont comment, it's not hard. We get it you're jealous but try to live in reality with actual FACTS like the rest of us.

Taylor - who made the latest big introduction vid - has a clip of a more recent press conference where Namjoon explains BTS success: He gives 50% to Army, 5% to each member and 15% to HYBE/Big Hit.
If you actually cared about BTS and did not only reflect yourself on JK you would know that.
And I'm sorry but I take Namjoon's words over yours.
Especially since you only concentrate on the praise JK gets from the members not on the praise that JK gives them or the members give the other members.

yes finally !! RunBTS was the most anticipated live performance to see by a lot of us Armys because it was the first time they performed that song!
Fun fact: yup that replay view count is low bc it is a replay. Armys are breaking records (even their own) for most views in 24hrs. BTS currently holds that record for having 108.2M under 24hrs. The livestream of this concert garnered 50M count in their official platform that DOESN’T EVEN WORK PROPERLY bc of the amount of real-time viewers… and that’s just one platform only… millions are counted from platforms such as Naver (korea’s google) and jtbc
*wince* every reload counted as a view not to mention that some of those views began counting before the concert began. But fans did "break" the app (and "Naver Now" and I'm not sure what happened to the other app Zepeto (?))

As do a lot of members. Jin is also famous for that. Some people speak about "The Jimin" and like him V can't trend under his given name as both names were classified as common words or they would trend too often - much to the displeasure of their fans biased to them.

JK is more successfull than I will ever be. That is a fact. I hope he can do what he wants and live the life he wants. I hope he is happy.

No, I don't think you read the comments. Maybe you did but only looking for suggestions. Because I see many repeatedly say you guys talk over videos (including me like videos ago.) It's just being respectful to the people who made the video and the artist themselves. But based on the video reactions so far, it's hard for me to believe you're taking it seriously. Well, that's our kings! They always give their all.
I'm glad you are looking at and learning about BTS, but please don't talk over the performance - if there's something you need to say, pause, and speak. ARMY will give you all the info you could ever want - and tbh, more. When I watch a reaction I am also watching the performance along with you. If you randomly talk over it, it feels very uncomfortable to me and frankly a little disrespectful of me, giving you my attention in this process, and knowing that you are probably missing important elements of the music and lyrics. You focussed on the performance, musically and in terms of dance. Valid focus. but actually the song is more meaningful, and you missed it completely.
Maybe you're not interested, but the song is about the question which is nowadays often put to BTS, and which they have asked themselves for ever : why have they succeeded so epically while other Idols don;t have the same impact? They don't know ... hard work? but everybody works hard. When they debuted they were NOT that good, and they were told in blunt terms they would fail because they were talentless and unskilled. They lived in fear of failing.
This song lists their memories of that time: their leaky studio below the tiny apartment they shared with a manager (they all seven slept in one room - bunk beds 10 inches apart) ; getting a call when school finished, saying get back to the studio now ...; waking up shiverig; drinking soju just to try to forget all the pressures. The conclusion they come to - they had each other, and they just ran always, with blind faith.
And that brings me to the OTHER reason why BTS are more successful than other Idols - who are all incredibly talented, hard-working and skilled.
BTS (with help) writes nearly all their own music, and makes sure that songs speak what is in their hearts. The lyrics are always honest, sometimes brutally painful, sometimes quite simply poetry. They write songs about real and sometimes dangerous subjects and they do not look away or hide their feelings.
BTS (within the constraints of an international fanbase and massive commercial company demands) have always been open and honest with us. Other bands present a squeaky clean united front (even though we know that some of them hate each other). BTS makes mistakes, and apologises, determined to learn and do better - and sometimes we see it addressed in their music. BTS fall out with each other, fight (sometimes physically), get over it, and tell us what happened. We see them telling each other off, and we can see the irritation in their eyes.
And they laugh at themselves and each other - all the bloody time.
They are not perfect, and they talk about their faults .... KungKook had bad skin when he was younger, and he shared how he hopes it will get better. Jin has always struggled with choreo, and talks about his extra work to compensate. He has a skeletal condition leading to hyperflexibility which can cause joint pain and pain in the extremities when it is cold. His fingers over flex and he can't hold them straight - and he laments his bendy fingers looking odd. RM used to really feel embarrassed by his notorious clumsiness - but now he knows we don't care. Jimin has a (half humorous) complex about being the shortest. Suga low key objects to folk calling him meow meow - but the staffs now make memes about him. BTS tease him about Yoongi Marry Me - and they love it.
In Idol land none of this should work - but it allows them to build a real sense of connection with and among fans. They frequently respond to individual ARMYs on Weverse or mention them on TikTok. They give 50% of the credit for BTS' success to ARMY. And, given the financial issues in their early years and the maltreatment in the Korean industry, (which in fact included abuse of ARMY by other fanbases) they are right to do so.
If you would like to know more about BTS and explore their music I strongly encourage you to look at their history. Taylor's video The Bangtan 7 is the most up to date at present - and is excellent. Xceleste has a number of YTs Nobodies to legends, BTS hardships, and This ARMY among them.
They are going to enlist, but they will ensure that they leave us plenty material - solo and group (somehow) and ARMY will still be here when they come back.
I like bby gang mag's video essays and boracity magazine has also interesting things to say.

There's also a clip I never forget of Hobi, not exactly hate, so perhaps not relevant here, but ... predebut it was a live of him visiting the new fan cafe just opened to check his messages. There were none for him. His face was calm but very sad, he blinked away from the camera a little, took a breath, then looked into the camera and said "It's OK, it will be allright ... J-hope Keut". The emotional maturity to respond so calmly to what must have been quite frightening (given the fact that his remaining in BTS at that time was far from certain) is so impressive! BTS is king of the stage. But Taehyung is your bias so you only see him - that is okay as long as you accept that others don't share your opinion and are as fixated on another member as you.
His work is worth checking out, though. He is 5% of BTS success - like all the members. His borthday celebration is going to be interesting. I want to see for what concept he went with for his photo book "Me, Myself and V".

@@mariacristinacosep925 Jimin is the best dancer in K-pop according to quiet a few votes/polls. Theoretical BTS themselves - and their choreographer like Hoseok more. At their skill level that is a preference thing.
Taehyung has stage presence - like all the members - and his facial expressions are magnetic - but his dancing is not quiet that good as those two.

Yeah, they are so awesome. I think one of the major reasons they are so stable singing and dancing is because they trained to sing while running on a treadmill. BTS singing, rapping and dancing is just top notch. Great Reaction!

Yessss they have this energy all throughout their concerts. The hardwork the goes into this is just amazing sooo even if some people can't get into thw music they should at least acknowledge how difficult singing, dancing and rapping is. They also write, produce and compose some of their songs. They sing while on the treadmill to have stable vocals while dancing. A lot of traning and practice so again even if you can't get into their music you must admit that they have sacrificed a lot for their craft.

Oh yes their concerts are pretty dope…been to two of them in Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles and Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. They have 3 hour concerts and they give it all singing live and dancing. You guys need to watch when given a chance….
