I forgot that Chik-Fil-A made its way up to the NYC area (they definitely were not there when I lived in New Jersey YEARS ago). But glad you enjoyed it. But yeah: if it's a burger, it'll be sauced. I think most places with sauce their chicken sandwiches (we can get into semantics of burger vs chicken sandwich later). As for Chik-Fil-A: yeah, they're Classic Chicken is just plain and you sauce yourself. I don't think I ever thought about dipping it (bun would get in the way), but always just automatically removed top and poured on sauce. Using the non-ketchup sauces for the fries is also totally legit and delicious. But glad you enjoyed the sandwich, even without sauce. :)
I prefer the sandwich sauceless tbh. If the sandwich is fresh-fresh, the chicken shouldn't be bone dry on the inside. The pickles do add moisture and flavor as well. So, really, it's all preferences. That's why they have basic sandwiches as well as fancy sandwiches.
@@housemana I honestly grew up entirely on miracle whip and I don't enjoy real mayonnaise by itself, but I do use real mayonnaise as a component for my burger sauce.
the heck, who dips his burgor ? thats weird ^^ no souce on the burger ... maybe becouse you took "classic" one learning something new every day ^^ def would use the souce for the fries too ^^ glad you enjoyed it and had a good time 🌻 thanks for the nice video ❤

Honestly I double up on it, pour the sauce on top AND dip after taking a bite or two. It goes crazy definitely recommend 👍
Only the realest patriots dip their burgers
