Well done sir! Sorry, but I suggest taking the snow craft training before tackling any alpine climbing. Mueller hut track is an avalanche risk. I can see the way you are holding and attaching your ice axe from your pack that you are not trained for alpine climbing. Please, don't encourage other people, You are putting them at risk and the SAR at risk.
Yes we actually said to ourselves we will never do this again on a winter. Before we started the climb, we enquire at the DOC and registered ourselves. It was initially an attempt and will not proceed if there was an avalanche risk and the weather was not good, but as we go along, it doesnt actually look as bad. But as you said, alpine training and knowledge is a must for this one 🥶
Great video! I'm going to do the same track soon(winter). Did you guys hire the boots and snow axes in the village? how did you find the sleeping bag? warm enough? thanks
Yes we hire boots and axes. Plus if you register in the village they will check and recommend these equipments. We have winter sleeping bags so its quite warm. We also brought hot water bag - its a lifesaver
Nice! Sana maakyat ko ito! Question lang, sir - paano ang process para maakyat? like fees or papers? also, anong shoes ang gamit ninyo? hehe thank you!
