Bournemouth fan here. We've played Luton many times at KR. Evening games are superb as you get delicious smells of curry and other food wafting up from the houses. Wonderful to see so much respect for the local people and football heritage from people of your age. Enjoy your time in Amsterdam.
Nice Video again Max! Was absolutely gutted when we conceded at the end. We did so well in the second half to get ourselves back into things and to lose like that was tough to take but Villa is a great team and did very well in the first half! Got to be up there with one of your best vids Max. I have never been to Kenilworth Road but it reminds me of some of the Division 3 grounds we had to visit in the early 70's. It was nerve wracking watching that second half but the late winner made it worthwhile. I'm not sure if I will ever get to another Villa away day living here in Australia but watching your videos is the next best thing. It was like I was standing next to you when Digne's header went in. Keep up the good work. UTV

Couldn't agree more about Lutons ground, you can almost feel the history of past days and past supporters, I'm sick of these Satelitte dish shopping centres pretending to be football grounds, awful, empty, soulless plastic sites with no culture or memories, places like "the Stadium of Light" and the former "Liberty Stadium" now renamed as the ".com Stadium", the old grounds really do feel like "home".

You say there were 1300 away fans, it sounded incredible even on the TV. Just wish we could replicate the noise at Villa Park next week and not make Tottenham feel comfortable. It just annoys me when teams like Chelsea and Newcastle who are well average this year tear us a new one and we’re passive. Anyway let’s hope we can do them but with our defence and Sons pace I am terrified.

I was watching this game and for the entirety of the second half I was on the edge of my seat as we got battered all over by a very good Luton side tbf. Credit to Luton for pulling back 2 goals. We really turned off in the second half and those substitutions needed to be made a lot earlier before we were 2-2!
I want to see Luton stay up mainly because they are such a throwback to the classic old days. They play pretty good football and they just feel like a link to the old days. Though if it's a choice between them staying up and the Villa in fourth... well, it's been good to know ya, Luton.
I always wanted to visit Kenilworth's away end, so it was cool seeing this.

What a ground I remember going there when Bruce and Neil Rioch played there. Weird how they park the coaches in the street too but it’s great to see the old style grounds. The first half we dominated the game and was unlucky not to go in with a bigger lead. Not sure what happened in the second we seemed to just back off and give them too much room but Luton are a team of fighters. Glad we got the win in the end hope they escape the drop. I really hope You and Luton stay up. The European Kings of the West Midlands and The European Kings of the East Midlands belong in the top flight and in Europe!!. I'm a lifelong Villa fan but had trials with Forest in the 80's and had a one to one that with the late great Brian Clough in his office. I was 14 so i was in awe and a bit scared. Never made the grade but good memories and that's why i have a soft spot for Forest!!

An Excellent vlog. I loved the full depth look of everything inside and outside Luton’s home ground. The entrance was fantastic, especially to randomly see the bathrooms, bedrooms and back gardens. Respect. Highbury is another classic one too for what you said before 🏟️ Well done Emery and Villa 👍
So glad for that win! The 4-0 could have been on if it hadn't been for poor defending on the set pieces. We've got to sort that, and don't give the opposition so many to start with! What incredible away end scenes! The game against Tottenham is a six pointer and it'll be tough, because they'll have had a nice rest while we'll be recovering from a trip to the Netherlands ( I'm both nervous and excited about that). But we've shown we can dig a win out of adversity, so we must focus and keep working hard. Someone said supporting Aston Villa can be hazardous to your health - 🤯- but there's no feeling like it when Villa deliver a result and the fans go wild!!!!!!! Very interesting to see all the footage of you going into the Luton ground entrance. I' remember a few grounds from the 70s, that was my 'era', but I've never seen one where the supporters are actually walking underneath people's windows! It did look like a great day out. For me - no place like Villa Park!!! UP THE VILLLLLAAAAAAA!!!!!!!

Loved that. Well done Max & Co, really captured the experience. Great result in the end, but almost blew it. Didn't see that second half performance coming but so glad for the 3 points. Watkins was untouchable in the first half. Have to say, it's only a small thing but check out Diarby's reaction to the third goal. Haven't seen a huge amount of emotion from him and I think that will do him a lot of good. Like Bailey, he's a confidence player. If we can beat the Spurs .........

Imagine if there were houses attached to Villa Park..... they would be worth a fortune because every Villa fan in the country (if not the World) would want to buy one. You could have all your mates round on match days, eat, drink, go to the match, no transport problems, no parking problems, no setting out hours before the game and then after the match party time, get sloshed without worrying about driving....yippee oy ay!

Palace fan here.Selhurst park is an old school ground and while it could do with some work,i love it because it has its own personality,if you like,not like the homogenised,samey stadiums that many teams have.

Great work, Max. Noticed that Kennilworth Road must be like Crystal Palace in that you have to walk across the pich to get to the dug outs. After a loss, that really is a potential walk of shame scenario for any manager already under pressure.
