- 2 months after release and the weapon balance is still not getting any better, in fact it might be getting worse. I discuss some glaring design logic inconsistencies and what I think should be changed ASAP, and also yell while doing it.

The running theory why mw3 is poopoococka is that there is in-fighting among the IW and Sledgehammer studios.
Sledgehammer's goal was to make mw3 a better game than mw2, but Activision's favorite child, Infinity Ward, didn't like that people hated how their mw2 played and is actively sabotaging mw3 with dumb developer decisions.
This could all be just cod fandom cope that cod is doomed to forever be bad because all the studios just can't make games like they used to. But it's somewhat believable because mwz isn't nearly as affected by these changes due it being Treyarchs part of the game and IW doesn't have seniority over them and can't change anything mwz is doing, only multiplayer.
Personally, I don't play mw3 for multiplayer, I'm almost strictly zombies and the rage is nowhere near the level that is the sweat-swamp that is multiplayer.
This game was factually rushed as mw2 was promised to be starting the 2 year cycle and mw3 was only half done, they had to scrap most of what they made in campaign and could only produce what I dub as the "Warzone tutorial".
Fantastic vid Ghillie, such a great game with an only main issue is the weapon balancing, and TTK is a muscle memory pain. Etc. But dam it’s a bummer.

Ever since ranked came out I don’t mind the changes/balancing for other weapons
I stopped buying cod games after the release of bo4 being a rage fest for me and the overall lobbies and playerbase on that game I just couldn't get a gud sync with, battlefield 2042's horrible launch made me stop preordering any game, I just don't know how I feel about the newer games that's been coming out these couple of years now always releasing in a broken state or just lack of content and variety imo so I've went back to battlefield 4 and stuck with that game ever since.

Also the new lmg reload animation is completely wrong. Nothing that really matters but maybe that says something

Each all COD games has unbalance weapons where headshot damage multiplier are absolute shit. Compare to Battlefield where it takes about 1-2 bullets depending your distance and weapon you used
yeah, I can get 4 headshots with 7.62 on an LMG and still not kill. It's because they think the playerbase wants every player to be a goddamn bullet sponge.
This is working exactly as intended, any engagement is good engagement and random nonsensical meta is a desired feature to keep the game "fresh". At this point why would they not generate many of these changes by AI? Balance is not the goal here.

Back then almost everything was viable at launch, and the guns that weren't got buffed in interesting ways (type 25 anyone? buffed by making you move faster with it than other ARs making it an interesting hybrid?)
Nowadays whenever I try a new cod game off a friend it's just suffering until you unlock the meta so what's the pissing point of having 3x the guns

Thanks for confirming that MW3 is the worst COD in recent memory. The "new" maps are obviously maps rejected by IW for MW2. I feel totally ripped off. This game is made for keyboard and mouse or non-standard controller users. Standard controller users on consoles are fodder for those players. Rarely any fun.

The weapon conversions in MWIII have been a real let down overall. The launch conversions such as the Puleymot bullpup kit and the MCW 6.8 auto mod were overall good but as time went on, it almost seems like they're afraid to make a statistically viable conversion kit to avoid people complaining. The only good recent conversion was the TYR rifle kit which was bugged for nearing a month...
They got rid of 6.8 extended mags for some reason
So i think what you have to do, in order to combat this is you have to go to your Library, find MW3, then find that “uninstall button” and then just click it
And then play more finals

With how bad MWII was, it's hard for me to wanna hate on MWIII at all, though I will say, MWIII's balance seems better to me than MWII's balance was (at least if you only include the MWIII Weapons, and not the MWII Weapons)
This was a problem I could see coming even during MW1. There are too many guns for people to know what to do with. It only escalates the more you add to the game. I quite during s1 of mw2, and i haven't been happier. People need to abandon COD to get significant change.
Ps. It may just be me, but I believe that the weapon changes and "balance" are based on the sbmm and some algorithm. Theres no way real normal devs would make these changes, but I 100 percent believe the sbmm is the reason the make these changes.

I come to Ghillies channel because it makes me feel better that other people suffer playing COD games and GTA5. Don't get me wrong I still play the games out of nostalgic love, but the devs on both games have logic of a plankton.

The people who still buy and play call of duty are the real problem, why would the devs change anything when you show them how happy you are about the game with your wallet, unless you started playing in the last 5-7 years cod is dead and has been dead for close to a decade
I don't even play Call of Duty anymore, or have MW3, and yet i genuinely completely UNDERSTAND Ghillies infuriation with degenerate game developers and their inability to make accurate games. I understand his infuriation because I've been playing GTA 5 Online for several years now, and as someone that has seen the changes with the GTA content, the developers are ROTTING the game away.

Ngl me being a heavy MW3 player I didn’t even notice half the changes or nerfs. The nerfs and buffs don’t make sense but I hardly noticed em anyway, it doesn’t mean they’re not bad but just not something that affects me even the bad ones like nerfing the shotguns and buffing the already good guns like the swarm 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️

Imo COD should go back to the basics, that means bring aim assist back to the way it was before cross play, no sliding just the dolphin diving for movement, no $20 packs for goofy skins that don’t belong in the game. Just make the games simple but fun like every COD from BO2 & prior.

Holy crap, someone who actually acknowledges the shotguns really aren't that great, the 300 was neutered acter having already been, and that it becomes even weirder with the fact the Longbow exists with a 30 round mag, quick bolt that can be faster, and has a VERY generous 1 hit kill.
Side note that I havent heard anyone point out yet though, the Tyr aftermarket kit doesnt effect the snakeshot ammo at all. The range values of the Tyr with only snakeshot, and with ss and the rifle kit are the EXACT SAME. It's not like it can 1 shot anyway, so I was hoping I could have a dumb gimmick weapon with at least a semi consistent 2 hit kill at an alright range.

Horrible weapon imbalance is why it's a bad idea to restrict how many GTA players can carry because there is never any point using anything but the most over powered ones.

@@GhillieMaster That never happens in official versions of games. Every shooter has weapons that remain too strong and too weak from the time it's released until it's forgotten. At least if you can choose any weapon at any time it becomes less frustrating.

Aside from explosive sniper rounds, I can't think of any time I was frustrated by being killed by a weapon in GTA, and that's only because I couldn't switch to them in the middle of battle. It's not so much of an issue now because although they were nerfed, the thermal helmets were added. That meant other sniper rifles could be used with thermal if needed.
I stopped playing CoD because it was always rage-inducing trying to level up the weaker weapons and perks. Every time I died it was like getting a loss and at the rate you can be killed in that game it's enough to want to smash the controller if it keeps happening.

It's almost like this rushed mess is not being managed because they know no matter how much bad press it gets, people will STILL _just get the new one_ when it comes out this year. Honestly it's funny to watch these because I'm more sitting here asking myself how they haven't learned from concepts they already had.
That kit for the... Sidewinder? (I don't play this game just here to support) would have been better just being like the Hammer (or however it was spelled) from Black Ops 2, start at a higher rof and end up at a lower one that sustains the recoil allowing skilled players to get more DPS out of controlling the high recoil initial burst (as well as generally making close range more worth it because the initial burst won't need much fire control when they're in your face) and allowing people who want a more sustainable weapon at range to still provide supporting fire as the firerate levels out.
You'd think with the games in this company's library they'd get by now that, shockingly, what people are willing to accept at this rate is _more of the same_ but you can do so *tastefully* by using what you have in a way that feels familiar.
We have the HAMR lmg in the game already tho, I love the concept of the sidewinder thunder lmg kit personally, just wish the base weapon wasn’t so bad, all they’d have to fix on the part is give more ammo in the mag, around like 60-75 rounds and get rid of the reduced damage, and then for the base weapon just reduce the recoil, I don’t understand how the mcw assault rifle has no recoil at base and then the battle rifle is just the same thing scaled up but has nonexistent recoil control
As mentioned my mistake is that I don't play the game, but I suppose my point was stressing that the option is there to make something that people would like to have again even if it would be a take off from the past. Mostly because doing things tastefully is what they're very much lacking right now.

I believe that a potential solution to the problem at hand would be to implement a hardcore mode exclusively for the game. It would be ideal if every game mode adopted this hardcore approach, where each gun has the capability to eliminate opponents in 2 to 3 shots, or a single shot to the head. Shotguns and snipers should consistently deliver one-shot kills, with the effectiveness of shotguns dependent on the proximity to the target. Given the substantial power snipers possess in reality, it is reasonable to expect a one-shot kill from a head to stomach shot. By adopting such changes, there would be minimal room for complaints as the firearms would largely share similar attributes. However, I must acknowledge that my opinion holds limited weight in this matter, as I am unable to assess and form an agreement or disagreement with you due to my poor wifi connection, which prevents me from experiencing the game without significant lag and interruptions. 😂😂😅😅
