I came back to listen to this version today. I used to listen to this version so much throughout my middle school to high school years that is 9+ years ago. This song really bring back so much nostalgia memories of my young teen years. Oh, how I missed childhood so much. ❤😭

I read the older posts (kind of like an faq) different channels. It''s amazing how many of the questions have been answered by the guys - I pay attention to actual Octet member posts (rickawoodtube, kenny314and gobears236) - because they know their stuff + the little boxes with the subscribe tab sometimes has the answers right in them - especially in kennyk's channel. Plus, google has some info. It's not alot, and most of it is about the newest group, but every little bit helps.
thanks for replying. let me start by saying that i have great respect for these guys for arranging this song a capella and performing it live, but i really had my ear out for the soloist and felt he was robotic, so comments that say 'perfect' or 'better than colplay' kind of seem bogus to me. i referenced my video only to show that i have a clue about what i'm talking about, not to compare apples to oranges. i just want people to really listen and be honest in their comments.
I don't know how many would be offended by your statement, however this group is just a tiny bit different than the Nirvana/Bohemian group. Jerome, Kenny, Rick and Ben have been replaced by Robin, Anthony, Josh and Brian. Also, Jordan is leading now. The one that comes after is also really good...I see the Octet as a vocal sourdough, you need a little of the old batch to make it sound good. :D

I don't know that your version showed more emotion than the soloist/group, and the fact that they arranged the song to be sung a cappella and sing it to a live audience rather than singing to a computer with an accompannent track is a huge difference between the two versions. You have a nice voice, though. Maybe u should join an a cappella group?
