Thank You. Your videos are always appreciated and I look forward to you posting them. I will try, and try again for sure, but you show the path very well. Once again, Thank You. Please be well and safe.
Thank you so much for this video - it worked really well as "paint along" video and I have managed to surprise myself by what my hands actually can do with a brush given that there is a good example to follow. My first watercolor landscape and after such an inspiring process - there will be more! :)
I don’t get back enough to see all your painting videos bc I colour but you’re just incredible Dominika and I apologise for not being here more. I follow you on Instagram. 👏🙌😍🤗🌹 Can I please ask what are the original yellow lines? Just a set up for the final white tree trunks? I adore your watercolouring 🎨
Oh that's fine my Dear :* That's why I have my second channel dedicated to watercolor enthusiast ;) but thank You so much Dear for Your support though. You are very kind ;) or maybe one day You start to paint? You'll never know :D This yellow lines it's just masking fluid but dry.
Beautiful painting. I love the brilliant colours. Amazing layering. Have you used Daniel Smith and Holbein colors? How do they compare to Winsor. Is your palette porcelain/ceramic? I like the palette.
Thank You so much, I really appreciate it :D No I'm only using W&N and Sennelier watercolors... In my country Daniel Smith is veeeeery expensive, also there is no chance to buy any Holbein watercolors here where I live. My palette is made of plastic ;) Was very cheap, hehe ;)
I replayed several times but am missing how you achieved the lighter trees on the opposite shore. Did you lift paint with water or a dry brush? Please tell me how you did it. Magical look! Thanks.
Thank You so much Sam :* All what You need to do is to use more diluted paints for a background- it has to be lighter and more like shadows than the foreground. If You want to lift paint always use a clean dry brush ;) If You add more water to pigments which are already on the paper, Your paint just will spread creating harsh edges. I hope that will be helpful for You Sam :* Best Regards, Dominika.
Hi Dheeraj :) You mean this yellow thing to cover my trees? It's a masking fluid :) Wherever you put it on your piece paper underneath will remain white ;)
