Uh not true, I specifically recall either a movie or episode that a military leader calla for both c3p0 and r2 wiped. So by the time Luke gets them they do not in fact know anakin
@Mikeoneal07 it's pretty well established the R2 has never has his memory wiped, as Anakin stated here, never wiped under Bail's orders, and remembers Obi-Wan
@@WorldWeave you can notice it by the fact we see r2 first as a part of padme's starship's crew and we see 3po first as anakin's build then in both the series and Revenge they swapped owners

I believe this episode was one of the first they animated, which is why the animations are on the rougher side, and why the music is different from what we're used to. Makes it a joy to watch how the animation develops in the later episodes .
What’s really difficult about grievous is that since ROTS came out before the show, 2 things could never happen. Anakin and grievous could never meet face-to-face, and grievous can not die because both those things happen on screen in the movie. It’s difficult to see him as a serious villain when we already know his ultimate fate.
One of the Clone pilots in the V-19 Torrent says "watch your stabilizer Gold Six!" when the fighters come in heavy fire by Grievous' fleet. This was one of several lines that could be heard at the start of Star Wars: The Clone Wars when the Lucasfilm logo was on screen.
Dave Filoni's first idea for Gha Nachkt's space scavenger, 'Vulture's Claw', was to make it look like field binoculars that could open and close. When this design did not work out, Kilian Plunkett found inspiration from a rusty, greasy dump truck he spotted while driving to work. He took the shape of the truck, duplicated it so there were three and stuck an axis down the middle to create the junk-prowling craft.
Weekly adventure, whacky humor, weird music choices. Those early child-ish episodes are obviously flawed, esp Jar-Jar and Padme ones, but re-visiting them after so many years... yeah, I'm starting to enjoy them in a nostalgic way, brings back a LOT of childhood memories. I'm immensely glad that Clone Wars turned out the way they are. The show basically growed up with it's audience, becoming more and more mature with each season.
The music played at the beginning as the capital ships approach one another is excerpted from Wojciech Kilar's score for Drácula de Bram Stoker (1992), specifically the track "Vampire Hunters."
According to the 2008 Legends Clone Wars tie-in novel 'Wild Space' by Karen Miller, this mission was Anakin's first battle group command, consisting of three Venator-class Star Destroyer (also known as Republic Cruisers). These were his flagship the 'Resolute' commanded by Admiral Yularen, with backup from the 'Dauntless' and the 'Pioneer', headed by Commanders Vontifor and Isibray.
"the music" This was the Halloween episode so Lucas bought a bunch of recognizable music. The opening face off of the fleets is Coppola's Dracula's Main Theme, and a lot of the action music is Crystal Method. It is also the first episode they completed. The "droid thingie" is a restraining bolt, used to lock droids down.
Innitially, this two part 'Droid' story-line was said to take place before the three part 'Malevolence' arc, which was broadcast first. The reasoning being that the former shows Ahsoka's maneuver between the Separatist frigates which leads Anakin to doubt her flying ability in the latter. However, this was not incorporated into the the official chronological time line for the entire series which Lucasfilm announced in 2014.
We have so much more information about Palpatine, though. If we didn't already know, we would never anticipate that the commander-in-chief of the entire Republic would be the traitor leaking information to the Separatists, so his subjects would absolutely never guess it (at least, not without the discoveries in Revenge of the Sith).
I’m sad y’all don’t like general grievous he was my all time favorite character since I first saw him when I was a kid but at the same time I like hearing opinions that differ from mine, which is why I love watching you guys watch this
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitive2 no I originally saw him from revenge of the sith, the reason he is more menacing there is because the 2003 version is “legends” and not canon so he had a lot more room to grow there, the reason why he seems a lot less powerful is that most of his losses are against some of the strongest Jedi in the galaxy’s history and this show follows the “good guys usually win bad guys don’t” so he has a lot less room to be as menacing. The reason I like him is that he doesn’t care about who’s side he’s on, he doesn’t care about politics, he has one motive only, and it’s to kill all jedi, and to me I find it so cool, which make him my number one all time favorite character
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitive2 another thing is that dooku/palpatine has bigger plans for him as you will see and hear as the show progresses, the over arcing plan is to use grievous to draw out and wear down the republic as much as possible for as long as possible. So, will you be watching the prequel trilogy during this? Episode 3 occurs at basically the same time as the end of the series, and a lot of things that happen may not make sense if you haven't seen it.
With all the 40k you have started consuming I really recommend Warhammer TV's new 'Iron Within' animation. I would love to see your reaction to that. It gives a cool look at Iron Warriors vs Drukhari
Agreed, I too love Grievous' laugh, a perfect tyrannical character. Speaking of tyrannical, I liked that word, just not it's meaning. Something like Tyrannosaurus the Lizard King.
R2 has literally never had his memory wiped, he remembers everying from the start to end of the Skywalker storyline

So this is the worst animation in the entire show, so it only gets better from here.
