Our precious puppy Ebony-Skye's behavioral issue and our plan to help her.

- This video was a difficult one to put together. We feel it’s important to share our entire journey with Ebony-Skye. Therefore, we needed to share information about a behavioral issue we’ve been struggling with since the day after we brought home our “we love her so much our hearts ache” little girl.

Hello guys! I certainly hope that you have succeeded in managing Ebony-Skye's behavioral issue! This sweet little one is so lucky to have dog parents like you who are doing everything they can to ensure that she grows up into adulthood as a well-balanced pup! Cockers' hunting instinct is very strong, and I see that in my Cooper for sure!!! And the "hunt" game is an excellent way to put that instinct and little nose to work!!! Cooper is very possessive of all his toys; he needs to have them all around him, and if he gets anxious about something, he'll grab a chewing ball or whatever and beat the hell out of it!!! He has lived alone with me for the last seven years now, and I adopted him at 7 months old from an elderly widower. As a result, he hasn't been familiarized with children, he is wary of men, but the good news is that he loves women!!! However, he has never shown any sign of aggression toward anyone, but my own vet, whom has now been seeing him for 7 years, is still very cautious with him because she always says that Cockers are biters... So, as a result, I have always been very pro-active, and if a stranger, whether a child or man, wants to approach him, I tell them to let the dog approach them on his own...slowly but surely... We love our fur babies, and obviously, you love Ebony-Skye to death and I can see why... I truly appreciate that you invest so much time, love, and training to ensure that she will be an all-around great puppy for a whole lifetime... Ebony-Skye is in great hands!!! Thank you for showing us the ups and down of raising a puppy... so many people get a puppy not knowing what they are getting into... Ebony-Skye is one smart puppy so, I'm quite sure that she knows that you only want the very best for her. I'm with you guys, all the way!!! 🐾🐶💕
Your words of support mean so much to us!!! Thank you! All 3 of us are still works in progress, and we will always do our best for her. We know we have made mistakes here and there, but we always try to learn from them. Ebony-Skye has, of course, her own unique personality. It's been quite a journey already, and we also get to learn so much from this little sweetheart. 💗
I will have to add this to our boy’s repertoire. Right now, we have four different puzzles that he loves. Solved them so quickly 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️.
Yeah, our trainer recommended puzzles also. You will see how she does with those in upcoming videos 😄👍 Mental stimulation is very good for them.
What was the mother's temperament like? That usually gives you a clue, all my pups have had similar personalities to their mothers.
We are not sure -- we only met her mother briefly. From what we saw, she was loving and playful.😀
But we still have some behavior issues that we are working on
We do as well. They have changed over time -- she is keeping us on our toes 😄
