[Synopsis]

You're right 👍, the Emperor does love her. The translations are very bad, it doesn't tell exactly how the story really goes.
Emperor himself had expected the evil Prime Minister dude to gift his niece, the to himself, but last minute change of plans, she was offered to YWY instead.
But the Emperor still loved & admired her regardless. Would even die for her.
I love this drama so much, one of the most memorable. But the English translations for this is also the most horribly translated subs I've ever seen. It's either wrong, or missing words.
