Joel’s talking about me. I started looking after my sister with early dementia, then Mum died, executor of her will. So exhausted I got cancer.Delayed my operation-much worse nearly died. All because I overdid it. Half the person I was now. Ruined my health. Still struggle to say no and it’s now harder. So many different people to deal with. I’m taking Joel, Jesus and Paul’s advice before it’s too late.
Your life sounds like mine.I took care of both my elderly parents.My dad had dementia (a WW2 VETERAN) my mother had a major stroke in 2012 and never walked again? I became both of their caretakers.They passed away in 2017 and 2019. 😢then the pandemic. I finally got their property sold in 2023 bc my siblings wanted the money.then I was diagnosed with melanoma cancer and had surgery.Filed for disability??? Nothing??? At the same time I decided I was going to go after God in such a way as to make the Bible REAL and His promises come true. To live a life of victory and faith, just like I REALLY want to. What could be more wonderful? Even at my age . Heaven on earth! Joel is definitely one of my inspirations. I needed finances desperately last year. Guess what? He provided!!! Greatly!!! That gave me a huge blast of faith. I’m going for healing and getting rid of those enemies we all encounter. This sermon is great 👍 Get excited too Debra! Join Gods conquerors and be a victor. We can't be around people who want us to solve all their problems. They'll get upset when you can't help. Just remember that they're never satisfied and you will need to rest afterwards.
My daughter is 31 w two children 9 months and 7yrs old she is living with me and I feel like she sucks the life out of me w difficult tasks as waking up my grandson for school and making sure he gets on the bus and he usually misses it and then she has to drive my vehicle to get him to school it's a hot mess and I need prayers please and thank you ❤
Oh lord, I totally understand with these adult children of ours! Currently going through this now with my 24 year old son at home (who now has a baby on the way next month) AND an adult daughter at home as well, both always needing something from me!!! We can pray for each other because I'm trying my best to push them towards their own independence and responsibilities so they can get out in their own places soon! 💯
One lesson that can be taught to those in need is to encourage them to reach out to God. I let them know that God loves them and would want them to confide in him.

I agree. I have a friend like this that I finally decided to distance myself from. Every conversation led to all of her problems and it wasn’t like this some of the time. It was every single time. And when she’d leave one topic about a very dramatic problem, she go right into another. It was hours of complete drain. I finally just said oh my God, I am so tired of hearing this from you. Please say something positive. I realized it will never change. And I need a nap and a day to recover from time spent with her. Finally had to just walk away and wish her well from a distance.
