Great selection of tractors 🚜 👌 well done.
Thanks 👍
Thanks for going to the trouble of making these videos, they’re very enjoyable.
Glad you like them. Thanks.
What a lovely collection of tractors ! My favourite was the fordson super major ! Great video again !
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks.
Good video thanks for putting in up
No problem 👍
Excellent video ! Thankyou
Excellent auction video 👍 cream of the crop for me were the IH 1455 and the IH 634 👌 afraid the likes of the overtime tractors do nothing for me but was a nice looking restoration 👍
Thanks 👍
My favourite period for tractors is the 1980s so my choice would either be the Case-IH 1455XL or Ford TW15 though very difficult to pick one. For something a bit older it would be the 2wd Fiat 850. Excellent video and very clear dialogue, really enjoyed watching this
Thanks for sharing.
Another fascinating video - some great lots amongst to 300 or so!
Many thanks!
It's great to see the variety of what goes through a Cheffins auction. I went past the site some years ago when on holiday, but sadly, there wasn't a sale on that day to go in and see.
I had an auction catalogue quite a few years ago and I was very surprised to see that a tractor we traded in for a new Ford 4600 in 1979 had found its way down from the North of Scotland to a Cheffins auction in 2000. It was a 1973 Ford 4000 with the Fieco De-lux safety cab, which was quite a luxury then back in the day
I was almost tempted to buy it and bring it back back to the farm again in a bout of nostalgia and, for old times sakes.. But sadly I didn't and regretted it afterwards as I spent many happy hours driving it.
I also wondered where it had been living and working for those 21 years since it was traded in.
Experience teaches us not to miss a chance when it pops up 😉.
Thanks for sharing your story.
Super video, some lovely examples there. I'd have taken that JD 2850 with me. Regards from Ireland.
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks.
Brilliant video the super major is identical to the tractor my grandfather bought new in 1961 I learned how to drive on it and would like to get one sometime but they make alot of money
A Super Major was a great tractor to learn to drive on. Lovely memories. Thanks for sharing.
Definitely a tractor for everyone in that sale👍. I’m waiting to see what the mb trac 1300 made as there seems to be a few being sold at the moment
I didn't have a price on the 1300. Maybe someone will tell us?
@@Casterton-Vintage it didn’t sell by the looks of it. Only 2 did, the 900 with sprayer on and 1 of the 1000s. The test didn’t sell
Great to see a Fiat tractor! Never common here but always the odd one floating around. If a conversion means a machine gets used instead of scrapped then I'm ok with it. This vid has alot of machines I've never seen before. Great vid
Thanks 👍
Lots of lovely tractors. I could have easily of got carried away and bought one if I had gone, possibly the john deere 2850 or 6400
It's a good job it takes all day to sell them all and I only had two hours there! 😂
Wonder how much that tidy 35x MP fetched,?
With the seller,s commission and buyer,s premium I think auctioneers are greedy now, buyer,s premium was never heard of once.
7000 not an early version as it has Dual-Power which was available as an option from '73, two years after the launch.
I remember having a demo of an early 7000 and the load monitor was the thing that stuck in my mind. I couldn't have said if it had dual power. Thanks for letting me know.
👍vid the mf 1200 must have a strong following to make what it did
That's what I thought.
@@Casterton-Vintage I owned a 1250 it's makes me wonder what's it's worth although it's not for sale
Own
Bloody hell they are all coffin dodgers at this sale !
