Dammnnnn! You are so talented man
Brilliant work!
Absolutely incredible 👏
Amazing! I’ve just started learning unreal 5 and it’s opened up so many possibilities. Great video😊❤❤
Masterpiece
Awesome ❤❤❤
Beautiful!
Your tutorial on the metahuman facial rig controls was very helpful on this. Thank you!
so good
wonderful work flow bro love it. thank you, love Maya still and Zbrush that's where i started
Thanks! Yeah, Unreal still has a long way before it can beat maya at animation
Hi! How many months did the project take? How were the appearing symbols implemented? It's also interesting to look at the camera animation keys during her flight.
Took me about 6 months.
The tattoos appearing were achieved by animating masks and adding glow in After Effects. I'll post a video about that and other stuff soon. 👍
It is simply beautiful, a true masterpiece. How long did the rendering in Unreal Engine take?
Thanks! The whole thing is real time, so almost instantaneous at 4K, that's the beauty of it. 👍
Beautiful piece! Congrats! How did you make custom metahuman rig? Any tuts or plugins I can buy? Because I really need that right now.
Thanks! I used the Advanced skeleton script (its free if you are not a studio). There's a tutorial on its youtube on how to create a rig from a generic metahuman skeleton.
@@MasteringCinematics Hey thanks for replying. Where can I get the Advanced skeleton script?
Incredible . Love it !
What is that on 2:01? How did you make weight paints for hair simulation????
Haha, no just wanted to show the hair follicles and make them stand out. It's just a viewport display thing.
@@MasteringCinematics got it , thanks )) It would be a huge discovery ahahha
How can I fix my eyelids becoming thinner when using Metahuman?
You are probably distorting the metahuman too much with your custom mesh. It's a juggling act.
How on Earth do you work with a blend of both metahuman rigs and advanced skeleton in Maya! Could you point in a general direction of your approach? Never found anything that Marie’s these two.
There's a setting in Advanced skeleton to automatically rig metahumans. I believe there's a tutorial in their channel on how to do that. It's basically a generic rig that the Metahuman joints are constrained to. When you are done animating in maya, you just export the joints and the mesh (ignoring the rig)
@@MasteringCinematics Hey, thanks, figured it out finally. Anyway, it's criminal that you don't have more subs, your work is amazing!
Thanks man! Now I'm starting to focus more on youtube. So hopefully I can grow this channel fast. 🤞
Any tips on learning this? Metahumans are my kryptonite lol
Honestly I learned all this by watching random UA-cam tutorials. The metahuman app is not that bad, it's just a bunch of sliders. Animating the face manually takes a bit of time to get used to with all the controls.
In the 17th century Dutch painters were at their best. Frans Hals, Rembrandt, Vermeer. Then technology improved and the artists lost their skills. I see this happening with 3d modeling. We're at the peak of modeling skills. Soon a.i. will replace it and people will be amazed by the craft of previous generations who had to tweak everything by hand.
How many hours would you estimate it took to create this? 100? 300?
You mean the Girl or the whole video? The whole video took about 6 months, sometimes working full time, sometimes part time.
amazing how long did this take?
@@MasteringCinematics wow that’s amazing , what was the hardest part of development.
I think the hardest part was getting the girl to look right, I did so many iterations until I got something decent. Metahuman is a bit challenging when it comes to creating kids.
Half way through the project I decided to build a new machine in order to get some high quality results.
I was using an RTX 2070 Super but was a bit laggy on some scenes. So in the new setup I got an RTX 4090, i9 13900K, 96GB Ram, and some fast SSDs.
Truly incredible!
