I am new to keeping bees...I bought a package of bees mostly carniolan and boy did I get lucky.as these girls are super hygienic. We had only had them a few weeks when I noticed bees carrying out larvae that looked torn up and flying off with said larvae. I called my Jamaican bee keeper friend and said "HELP, I got bad bees, They are killing their young... Oh the horror and I don't know what to do. In his great Jamaican Way of speaking he said "don't worry mon dem hygienic bees, they getting rid of varroa mite and tings like dat". God bless....I had no idea, and these girls are reproducing fast.... I have joined a bee group here locally but I I do hope I can learn about breeding and genetics and how to keep this line going. These girls are the best in my humble opinion.
You racist! Lol
@@canieatit6815 reality is not racist! My friend is Jamaican and has his unique patois. Me sharing his exact sentence verbatim is NOT racist.
We had an unusual thing happen a few years ago in the public schools in our town. The elementry children once a year had an event they called "invite your parents to breakfast". Public schools in Georgia are majority-black. Some of the black mothers decided that having an invitation that mentioned "parents" (plural) was racist because many of the black children had just one "parent" at home. The breakfast had been a tradition for many years and anyone (teachers/patents,) who wanted to invite both the parents was suddenly called racist. The word "parents" is now racist. Oh for the love of God. Do you see how crazy this is becoming? Reality is racist we must enter the world of the woke SJW and admit everything is racist.
@@stefkadank-derpjr1453 I was being sarcastic. Woke is a joke. I probably should have made that more clear. Apologies.
Very informative and interesting to watch!
i read a story from the UK about carnolian bees......without genetic testing, and a bench mark how do i know i have carnolian bees? is Carnolian a color? a location? or a color or a trait?......a man was selling nucs and he said his bees were resistant to varroa......i said does resistant mean i wont have to treat them? or is it just an observation?

Excellent and informative- please keep posting new videos (*_*)
Great video Ps.. you spelt her name wrong
What is this word 'Carnolian'? The only race of bees I have heard of is one called 'Carniolan'.
Don't worry, they get called many things. Here they are called "krainer" properly "Apis mellifera carnica".
@@thomaschoat9632 It's truth that this bee is called different names, but kreiner, carniolan, kranjska ect. represend name in different languages for area where this bee originate from.
She is saying Carniolan.
@@helenscott8202 I know that. But when people cannot correctly spell the word about which the entire post and video is concerned, it shows a rather distressing lack of proof reading. Had someone just made a slip in a comment, I wouldn't have bothered.
Adrian Fox Since I’m not a beekeeper, just find the topic interesting, I figured it was another name for this type of bee since there seem to be several.
Notice the chemtrails in the opening photo?
No.
I’m not anti-conspiracy. However, I do appreciate science. Condensation is real, so are contrails. During certain weather at certain altitudes, every commercial airliner leaves contrails.
Look up condensation and clouds and contrails. Once you understand that aspect, you won’t work yourself up thinking everything is a chemtrail. 👍🏼
Why this inbreeding? Why can't humans learn of their previous misstakes? Dogs, cats, horses, have we been succesfull?
