Only one I disagree with it the otr bullet, it's my main, it fits in any pocket, it's nice and light in your hand, pretty big nib for nice tags even though a small thing, my ones body is so covered in old Ink it's not slippery at all, only complaint from me is how often you have to refill it. Good vid tho sciz, keep up the work 🤟
I love the oil-based Sharpie paint markers, they're basically px30s. Also, the Posca chisel is not bad if you dump out the paint and throw some ink in there.
I haven't used the oil based sharpies much. being that their physical markers are well enough pout together I could see the oil based stuff being not half bad
I use sharpie oils, also... on canvases. They're quite good and the colors are a close match to Molotow. They work for tags but too fine-pointed for me. 💪🎨💣
OTR 4001 Bullet is A tier for me. Definitely one of my main go to markers. The Art primo PIXO.38 now has replacement bullet tip nibs. And reigns supreme as S/God tier. Right next to Uni PX30😎🤙
The reason why I find uni-silver or any xylene based markers S-Tier is that your tags can’t be crossed off by a toy. Their ink will will be eaten by the Xylene (unless they’re using xylene based marker as well)
My S tier is an empty Chinese marker where I sliced the nib extra thin for calligraffiti and put a mix of OTR 901 Dirty Chrome with some Noodlers: Heart of Darkness fountain pen ink for extra flow. I can use that to write in gothic script so clean you would think it was stencil work. Only thing I would like more is if the nib was firmer. What is the firmest marker nib that still flows in your opinion. That they sell in 15 mm? For crispy lines.
Hello my friend. Another off the chain video. For the PX30 silver and it’s unofficial refills, Check the premium supply company. There are two refills offered specifically for the PX30. There is the 4OZ chrome refill and a 2OZ silver refill. I do believe the silver PX30 refill, may just be there standard Premium Silver, which from what I’ve seen and heard is extremely quality. Either way. Stay up brother and I’ll keep it locked. Respect Sent Oner
Montana Bold has a nice deep and highly opaque black ink, and a variety of some strong-bodied markers in the same range. Solid valve system too. Hating on the Pentel Short also bans you from my village.
Sick video! Thanks for sharing your thoughts on each marker! I’m just getting into pump action markers. Is there a way to not make it spill paint on the inside of the lid when i shake it?? 😅
Try not to over-pump them when you use them. Wipe excess paint off around the nib when you're done. If you aren't saturating the nib too much and it still splats while capped you might have a valve issue. Doubt it'll be for all your markers though 🙃 keep at it.
yeah true. I've found them good but you have to shake them a lot for sure. they don't seem to do well if you let them sit too long either but that part is my fault for sure haha
also im still a toy and want to find what mrkers are best in terms of permanence and my first marker was a krink k71 just because it was the only marker my art store has and i have a lot of random markers so it would be cool if you did a tier list like this but rank them by how buff proof and permanant they are. love your content btw.
Just a suggestion. Like maybe make in the future do a refillable marker list vs a disposable n rate the marker not the pruduct inside for the refillables. Just a thought. Again love your vids. Ive been warching for days straight 😅
Personaly i hate uni paint px -30 its so messy and when i open it and shake the paint just start flying out of the nib and thats with every uni paint i have
I don't know about softer necessarily but for the 8mm they are definitely weaker is probably more accurate. They certainly become pretty soft when they fray though which can feel kinda better to write with in my opinion
For me the top #1 S tier is gonna have to go to none other than the posca markers. For the sole reason that they're the only one available where I live.
Only one i disagree with is the pentel shorty id put the px 30 at s tier personally, with the shorty tho i always had issues with it writing opaquely on certain surfaces and the paint picking up other paints and messing up the nib
I've heard the flow being a consistent complaint from others as well with the pentel. I have definitely noticed that too, but I don't think it's been as bad for me since I put some thinner ink in it as well which the nib seems to handle better. Could try that if you want!
@@ScizGraffiti thanks for the idea man will give it a shot in the future because I do agree it’s a very high quality marker , I was bummed out when it didn’t work like I thought it would lol
Magic Ink in the intro, but no where in the tier list? Also, PX30 is i God tier for the quality alone. I have one from 2004 that is still functioning as well as when I ...."bought" it. Nice list otherwise.
This list is trash. Most of these markers are for black books not to be used out on the streets. Pentel shortys are trash too. OTR bullet is 10x better with quality paint and a nib that can actually withstand being outside. You really even a-boat that life dawg?
lol never met any writers ever using the OTR Bullet or even owing one. Those markers are strictly marketed for toys. Also I’ve never heard a legit writer ever trash the Pentel Shorty… 🤦🏿♂️ that marker has been around for multiple decades… the quality and performance of the marker has always been top tier.

Yeah the bullet nib is a nice size. Definitely just a personal qualm I have with how they feel to write with.
@@ScizGraffiti fair enough
I loved mine til I realized the plastic shell is kinda brittle and cracked when I dropped it
It’s not bad it’s just mad akward to write with
My favorite marker is the uni px30 with a flared out nib. When the silver runs out I throw mtn liquid silver in or black magic ink for my black px30s
SCIIIIIZZ!!! very nice video i love this topic good stuff!
Thank you man!

Aye ive been binge watching ur vids my boy, good stuff
Thank you man 👊
Hey bud! Great video you could try tier lists for inks, paints, caps and spraycans next! And even a tier list for the most unbuffable stuff lol

Yo sciz, you should review the new dang master blaster spray can, I think they came out with not to long ago
Glad you're asking cause it's in the works right now!
MTN WTF Markers are te sharpest Chiesel tip iv ever seen, also has a great durability even not being designed to rough surfaces
I still haven't got to use em :( not a fan of the super hard nibs but they do last long
The reason why I find uni-silver or any xylene based markers S-Tier is that your tags can’t be crossed off by a toy. Their ink will will be eaten by the Xylene (unless they’re using xylene based marker as well)
That's a very good point. The silver does just kinda cut through everything.
Thanks for the Video!
No prob. Cheers man

Thank you for the tip man! I've heard Premium Supply Company in a couple different instances. They tend to have good stuff from what I hear
review sharpie oil based and the chisel tip metallic ones

That seems like a good rule ✅️
The krink bleed thru are awesome
How do I choose a marker to doodle on a white van
bro my grog chisel tip has dried up so i cant open it becuse the corners are locked to the bottom

Yeah trentorsa basically is saying what I'd tell you too.
Hit all ur 1foralls with a tad of acetone it fixes the valve issue
Yeah if I can make myself do that I will haha. It is a bit of work though
sharpies also come in an oil based varient that i acctually own

What if you refill the markers with more permanant paint/ink? Would tht redeem the marker? Thts my question. ^^ ty love your content❤

Is dope paint or ink better
wahts wiht the bold montana makers
I like ya vids g they perfect for my graf knowledge
Glad to hear! 🤙

The px30 cap is definitely an annoyance for that reason, totally agree. I'm convinced there's no possible way to uncap it without it getting messy.
So grogs chisels are softer? I’ve never bought one from them but have always wished the 8-15mm chisels I own were a little softer
I don't know about softer necessarily but for the 8mm they are definitely weaker is probably more accurate. They certainly become pretty soft when they fray though which can feel kinda better to write with in my opinion

I’m not a fan of the shorty white , must have got a bad marker but even if I fully saturate the nib it goes dry in one stroke ?
I've heard the flow being a consistent complaint from others as well with the pentel. I have definitely noticed that too, but I don't think it's been as bad for me since I put some thinner ink in it as well which the nib seems to handle better. Could try that if you want!

Yeah I had the magic ink ready to go and everything and my dumb ass somehow just missed it on my desk 🤦🏻♂️😑 I'm a fan of them for sure though
O krink k71 parece um mini fatcap, não sei se o propósito dele é fazer uma tag com ponta fina 🤨
⛅
Para completar o pentel white só falta uma segunda ponta biselada
Pilot jumbo didn’t make the list? 😮
I've never used it so idk where to put it :p
