But most of them have been well documented, and even happen all the time, but not in the right context to be considered an UFO. Particularly when it comes to military secret projects, atmospheric phenomena, and psychological events. It's just that much like many other rare or unique things that people don't understand, people tend to want to give it a greater meaning that it actually has. You can take it from most of these sightings - what people see is flashing, fast moving lights, weirdly shaped objects floating around, or something that makes mechanical or electronic things failing, right? Or perhaps something moving around that they can't really tell what it is. I personally think that nature, natural phenomena, animal behavior, and other stuff that exists on Earth is perfectly possible of doing several of those things in rare occasions. Our own perception and psychology is capable of creating mass illusion events, getting together to make hoaxes, believing in stuff that simply isn't there, and whatnot. So, Occam's razor applied. For each and every one of those cases, which is more likely? That they were experiments made by someone on Earth, natural phenomena, or alien life coming from some other planet, dimension or whatever, with unexplainable technology, intelligence, and all that which we've been looking for since we set our sights in the sky? Sure, both are possible, if you come from the perspective that we really don't know much about anything, not from space, or from our own planet. It's just that for the alien life theory, we have the observations and testimonials of the sightings, but you have to pile up a whole ton of very implausible speculation on top to get there. Versus just using a whole lot of rare but plausible phenomena we already know happens. Things like ball lightning, phenomena related to static electricity, weather events, combustion events and bioluminescence on marsh regions, all the weird stuff that happens at higher atmosphere, and so on.
