I actually laughed out loud when Dad asked Kobe not to step on his face and Kobe stepped directly on Dad’s ear. If Dad had not covered his face with his hands he would have been minus one ear. Not laughing at your injuries, Dad, but Kobe was having such fun.

It never ceases to amaze that many men expect their wives to carry their weight for them. If you get hungry, you should cook. If you use dishes you should wash dishes. If you wear clothes you should wash clothes. Another mother's daughter is not responsible for carrying your weight.
It’s difficult to have a conversation with the most adorable little acrobat repeatedly tumbling on your face! Kobe is very smart and presented a good distraction to avoid bath time!😊
Deep cleaning every day means you never have to really deep clean. It’s always easy so you don’t dread it. But Dad is saying he wants it cleaner than usual since in-laws are coming over. That’s a good idea since Mum will be silently judged if it’s not well done anyway. Maybe Dad can do both and let Mum rest today. 😊

I was wondering what the problem was…but yeah I see he’s not going to be cooperative because he already started whining when Mom 1st said it. I have to say I’m an old school parent and I’d like to see how the new ones get children to do what the child doesn’t want to do. Especially when the child already made it clear he does not want to be cooperative.

Let me tell you my twin niece and nephew, the girl is a breeze loves the water the boy is the complete opposite he'll fight it everytime and he's been that way since he was a tiny baby. Mother does it fast and it's a breeze and makes it looks easy. I have given him baths and the tub and have come out literally drenched from head to toe. He cries screams and sworms around so much during bath time I have to get in with him so I can get a good hold of him so he won't fall. And if I wasn't already wet from head to toe then I was after that I'm talking clothes drenched from top to bottom.
When my mother's done bathing him she doesn't have a drop of water on her lol.

Listen to your wife. No you didn't tell Sandy that you clean the kitchen better. She just proved that Dad does not deep clean which she plans to do. Does Dad deep clean Kobe (shampoo his hair, brush his teeth, clean his ears, wash between his toes and teach him to clean his private parts, etc.) One time my inlaws unexpectedly visited us and my spouse and I decided to split up the evening chores. I had to complete my chores and go back and clean up his chores because they were half assed done. You know why, because on a normal evening I would have done all of the chores while he relaxed on the couch watching TV. My inlaws even noted that I had to do everything. Sandy said, "I'm tired." Please get up and share in the chores so you both can enjoy the quest when they arrive. Have a good evening.

Mom and dad, have you considered combining dishwashing with bath time? I used to wash my baby and my nieces and nephews in the kitchen sink. But, dishes go first. LOL
Is that hygienic though Ms Sharon? Mixing bathing children for ecample and washing vegetables and food items in the same sink. Makes it easier for sure but not sure how "clean", that is.

One person working and doing all chores would be abusive. They both chose well, because they can have this conversation with civility and mutual respect. Mum spoke softly and even said please.
