I rememer this game so well. It was half term, my dad took the day off and my grandfather came to our house and we all watched it together. 15 mins in the second half I though it was going to happen.
Very proud that my father Paul Watkins designed the badge for this game!
It was a competition to come up with the design wasn't it?
Had to look twice when the intro had Terry Wright at 13. Obviously a Typo. Thanks very much for posting the match video. Jeewa
Bring these tours back , I watched every game it was a great tour could be what our game is missing
Good insight at the end from Kirwan and Gallagher.
That injury to tuigamala destroyed his all black career
Hardly. The man played another 3 seasons in black jersey before switching codes.
the 'centre' they say was not bad was alan bateman , too right he wasnt a bad guy
I was there, the ref needed an es out out of town
neath really should have beaten them - as should swansea a few days earlier
I think that's pushing it a bit TBH. When Neath got close in this game, it didn't take much for the ABs to up their game a bit and reassert control.
The eternal Welsh refrain....."coulda, woulda, shoulda".
