Her emotional unity with Scriabin's music is nearly unprecedented. She is living and breathing it. Who needs the sheet music?
From someone who fell in love with Scriabin some 40 years ago - astounding. The notes danced and flew ecstatically through the air! Disappointed I've not found these records of you playing until now. Your Op 38 Waltz (which is so difficult to interpret) is equally astounding. You are to Scriabin what Benjamin Grosvenor is to Ravel, which is the highest praise I can think of. Thank you!

Dear Eva…you are an artist of the highest caliber! Your cantabile-line is “Horowitzian,” and your masterly use of the damper (sustain) pedals, is breath-taking!
The clarity of your pearly notes are alike “pellucid and sparkling.” But even more admirable is your masterly control of the dynamics --absolutely stunning!
Going beyond the academics, what cannot be taught is the true merit of a great interpreter or artist!
I am totally convinced that unless you “live the music in question” such wondrously ineffable echoes would come short of what we may call “cognitive transcendence,” for behind such random of beautiful harmonies, there is a lofty spirit, a blessed soul, expressing herself through the shimmering sparks of sentience and consciousness!
Congratulations, you are proof that technique without a soul, is an empty husk of sonorous cacophonies, or a machine bereft of emotional intelligence.
We need to fill the Earth with people like you!!!

Dear Eva, ever since I was a young pianist, Russia has always been in my heart: Vladimir Horowitz in Moscow (1986), Alexander Skriabin, Rachmaninoff!!!
To me, if a pianist can recreate the “pellucid quality of cloud-mirrored lakes” and ever-flowing deep rivers, surrounded by mountains and a expansive misty sky, ever rolling up to the wonders of existence, then, that blessed soul is a poet!

Eba, your 7 is lovely. I also look forward to hearing all the rest of Chopin's 24 Preludes including 24, 22, operatic 21, fave 20 I connected with Christ, 17, 13. I have not heard anyone play them with soul comparable to Brailowsky, which I know you've got.

I don't even know what to say ! I have no words ! I could say I never heard these preludes before listening to you. It's so refreshing, so inventive, so perfect (the tenth one is marvelous, it's so different from what I have already heard and I play it also differently compared to you, it's a revelation) ! In fact, for decades, I've listened Sofronitsky a lot (it's an euphemism), your playing is so different, but not in a bad way, absolutely not ! That's why I say I have never heard these pieces : never like that. You became my new reference ! I've seen that you also play Etudes-Tableaux. I'm dying to listen to that. Another of my all-time favorite pieces (I'm playing the op.33 no.7 these days, a lot of fun !). 🥰
