This song is in Sindhi language. This song celebrates the arrival of young girl Marvi in the Thar Village who was abducted by the King Umar of that time. Due to resistance of Marvi, he released her after few years. In this song, Peacock represents Marvi. Peacock is the traditional bird of Tharparkar, Sindh and Dolphins are found in the Indus River of Sindh

Marvi was a beautiful and virtuous young woman living in a village in the desert region of Umerkot in Sindh, Pakistan. She was engaged to Khet, a shepherd whom she deeply loved. One day, while fetching water from a well, she was noticed by Umar, the ruler of Umerkot. Enchanted by her beauty, Umar decided to take her as his bride.
Umar, using his power and influence, abducted Marvi and brought her to his palace in Umerkot. Despite the luxurious surroundings, Marvi longed for her home, her family, and most of all, her beloved Khet. However, Umar was determined to win her affection and lavished her with gifts and comforts.
Marvi's captivity in the palace lasted for several months, during which time she remained steadfast in her love for Khet and her loyalty to her homeland. She rejected all of Umar's advances and remained resolute in her refusal to betray her love and her people.
Moved by her unwavering loyalty and integrity, Umar eventually realized the futility of trying to win Marvi's love through force. He decided to release her and allow her to return to her village. Marvi joyously reunited with Khet and her family, who welcomed her back with open arms.
The story of Marvi's abduction and her steadfastness in the face of adversity became legendary in Sindhi folklore. It is celebrated as a tale of love, courage, and the unbreakable bond between a woman and her homeland. Marvi's story continues to inspire people to this day, symbolizing the strength of character and resilience in the face of oppression.
