Can you leave this connected and mounted in the car? I know the motor won't run while you're in the parameters menu but other than that it seems to run while connected. Also I'm having trouble figuring out the data logging. I made 4 runs and powered off the esc between each run but when I connected the OTA it only showed 1 data file. I didn't have the ota in the car while making the runs so I'm wondering if the esc can only store one file and maybe the ota expands the memory.
Were you able to drive with it connected? Can you use this to update parameters live while running test laps between changes without having to remove the body and touch the car?
Thanks for the video. Just got the OTA. Can't get it to work in WiFi mode and can't change the name of the module. I found the Bluetooth connection to be really slow. Can you help.
hi! i just got a HW OTA Programmer and connected it with my XR10 Justock 60A esc. and after the firmware update, it seems the drag brake is on. even if i set on the parameters to 0. can you do a video for the XR10 Justock 60A esc?
Could you pass along the operation videos numbers for the OTA programmer. You had mentioned how there are other videos about using the OTA, but trying to find them in the Hobbywing Video Library is not an easy task. Thank you Charlie.
Will this work with the Max6 and will there be data logging for the Max5 and 6? I run X-Maxxs. I have the wifi one now in one of them and just finishing up a Castle Monster in the other one for logging ability. But run Hobbywing in a speed Bandit and noprep drag Slash with Max10s in them , 3652 and a 3660.
The OTA does not "add" features to an ESC. If the ESC does not "have data logging" this won't add it. Max series does "not" have data logging. OTA, works on all the same ESC's that the WIfi or LCD box worked on, so yes, works on Max series.
I have a dumb question. If you change settings in your ESC and hit "save" in the app, do you need to turn your ESC off to complete the changes? I always did that with my HW program box, just didn't know if it was required with the Ota programmer. Thanks.
Hi. Love HW products. Just bought XERUN XR8 plus Combo with 4274 2250kv motor. I plan to install this set up in a Typhon TLR roller 1/8 buggy. My question is, can the OTA blue tooth be used like the Wi-Fi module and leave it connected to esc for live tuning?
Hello, my name is Jerry. I would like to find out if I can put the information on the OTA directly to my laptop so it’ll be much easier to read the grass on the phone. It’s just garbage. It’s just too small too hard to manage. Can you help me?
So you cant leave this plugged in? Ill probably stick with the program card that does mainly the same thing. It should be able to give you live data for $60. In the time you spent waiting for the Bluetooth to connect I wouldve had the car programmed and been outside bashing.
2:50 lol of course it is. could you imagine if it was set for a pack? if you switch from a 2s to a 3s and forget to change it you fuck your battery pack.
Glad I found this video. Helps a bunch
How to connect the XR10 Pro 160 G2 and OTA Programmer can see the Real-time Data?
Now, I can't connect to the Real-time Data Function.
Dag. I'm glad I've subscribed to your channel. You share all the new hotness. Thanks
1:02 Its called a square wave and its the symbol for signal just like we have symbols for other things
Do you have a video explaining the Data log function?

Is this ota for the old Xr10 Pro V4 160Amp
Hallo, ist es an dem xr10 justock G3 nicht möglich die live Daten zu sehen? Irgendwie geht das bei mir nicht. Danke
Hello, does the new HW V2 app works for AXE systems? Thanks
Hi Charlie, could you tell me if the OTA works with Xerun 120a V3(not V3.1). Thanks
Any chance you can do a comparison with WiFi Express Module vs. OTA Programmer?
Can i do this whit the old Xr10 Pro 160Amp

OTA, works on all the same ESC's that the WIfi or LCD box worked on, so yes, works on Max series.
What does thr curve do?
I love it.. 10 months late but I need one lol I just got my Xr10 pro legacy
So this doesn't do anything that that wifi module doesn't? I don't see any reason to upgrade if there's no new features unlocked
Is this device applicable to Seakings marine esc as well ??

I was told by someone that yes you should. But I usually end up doing this because I don’t disconnect the programmer until the esc is off anyway.
Hi works this whit the old Xr10 Pro 160Amp

Yes.
Dose the new hw app work with the old wifi module?
Yes it also works with the wifi module.

Will this work for programming a Spektrum FIRMA?
No.
I dont know but I am having an issue when I go into parameters. It keeps disconnecting
I’m having the same problem, I have contacted tech support at hobby wing over the weekend. Still no fix/answer yet.
Same here. Driving me crazy.
Me too!
I have found the fix! You have to uninstall the app and reinstall it and it works!
OTA Yota.
A good video would be comparing wifi express module and hw ota Bluetooth module
How long is the moment for?

You can't do custom throttle curves with the LCD program box
Who you calling nerd! You nerd!
2:50 lol of course it is. could you imagine if it was set for a pack? if you switch from a 2s to a 3s and forget to change it you fuck your battery pack.
can you use this with multiple cars
sure can
