I love Lzzy Hale, Dorothy, Larkin Poe, Samantha Fish, Elles Bailey, Chris Stapleton, ZZ Top and, The Black Crowes to name some.

On the road home by Heart is one of my favs too. Straight on , on that album got me. I saw Heart in 1976 they were great and always a fav.

If she just focused on her great voice and writing good rock songs instead of her identity politics I would listen to her more. She got big singing about sex and stuff. Once she got big and a platform she went woke. Kinda shady if you ask me. For example Rage against the machine was a political band and I accepted that from them. They didn't hide it or wait till they were big to push their agenda. I don't agree with all their messages , but the good thing about Rick is you can take the song and make it your own. Lizzy is mouth piece for someone else. Women rock,men rock whays wrong with that. Some of the most successful artists are women. So where's the disparaging aspects to rock? Lizzy is talented but is too focused on feminism and woke culture to probably never write another good album.
I think you are overlooking the fact that a lot of bands are forced to write on particular topics when they are first signed. They have even said some of their early stuff they weren't crazy about, and I think some of it was the "style" at the time they released music (Hinder, Buckcherry, etc) and they felt pressure to blend in with that. It's normal for people to feel more confident as they age with speaking their mind. I think you're completely misinterpreting them. She doesn't hate men...she's in a band with three men.
