LOL! 👍🏻 I agree with cowboy hat that it’s “dark material”. This got more positive reaction than I expected. Mr. Black suit knows his Metal. 👍🏻
boy638 Dubstep has to be done right to sound good, this slipknot nonsense just sounds repulsive. Screaming or yelling in a song has to make sense and have purpose, like in "Red End of Silence", Linkin Park, and some of the songs that P.O.D. do.
I am a classical musician and strangely enough I don't mind listening to heavy metal at all. The energy in heavy metal music is awesomely intense it's somewhat inspiring for me as a musician.
stev019 Care to share some bands that you do enjoy? I'm not bashing or anything, just looking for some pointers. I myself do like Slipknot, but I also enjoy exploring other groups.
ionot I produce electronic music and I too enjoy listening to metal and stuff like that sometimes. It does give inspiration and listening to genres that are completely different from what you do or usually listen to helps alot.
I’m a 13 year old in middle school with straight A’s and have a very good reputation of being the quiet kid who isn’t a trouble maker. When they asked them who listens to these songs. And one of them said gangsters. I sorta laughed at it! Slipknot fans are one of the sweetest persons I have ever met
I'm just like you albeit older, but I'm also the good quiet kid. I listen to all slipknot stuff, and I think a lot of it comes down to the fact that I get to appreciate the music since I play guitar and drums
Actually a lot. Me and my friends love slipknot and most heavy metal. There was plenty of gang members, especially those of us that were in predominantly white gangs, mostly on the north side of Chicago that love this music. I mean, none of us are active gang members anymore. Most of us are grown up and have families and great lives. I'm still a dedicated Maggot and almost 40 now.
itz layzah Yeah but there might be truth to that. Just cuz ur not into drugs doesn’t mean drug addicts aren’t more attracted to types of music that are more outrageous and express an element of anger or shock or whatever due to their own lives usually being pretty difficult.
I’m glad they pulled up that statistic about metal music listeners being more aligned with classical music listeners. Like what did you think, that classical music was gonna line up better with pop, rap, or something else. Nah man, instrumentation is key.
Yea im both a classical and metal musician and the genres are pretty similar. Imagine disasterpiece or heretic anthem in a instrumental classical cover. Its ment to bring emotion out. Metal helps release anger while classical is to make you feel tense for some and relaxed for some. Classical is more of a diverse version of metal imo

Straight up metalhead at 4:33. He's naming all my favorites. He's awesome \m/
“Wow I wish i was at this concert” this line made me love that man

"My body is too broken now to go into a moshpit... Unfortunatley"

somehow after discovering Slipknot, dubstep seem like childsplay
That's because it is
boy638 Dubstep has to be done right to sound good, this slipknot nonsense just sounds repulsive.
Screaming or yelling in a song has to make sense and have purpose, like in "Red End of Silence", Linkin Park, and some of the songs that P.O.D. do.
***** Well there is a big difference between the two.
And dub step always was...
It's nothing compared to some bands
When he said System Of A Doen i got really happy #FanGirlProblems
**down
Emmy Monster so did i......lol
Best grandpa
*Still waiting for a new SOAD album*

it would have been nice if you would have done slipknot and the stone sour just to screw with them
They act as if "Devil In I" is heavy lol
"I wish i was at this concert" "give me more" i think i really like this man.
Respect for the guy who loves metal \m/.
nyanrlz The guy is their dad.
LD DaggerHeartz didn't know that, he is awesome.
nyanrlz He is awesome. Check the description box next time, okay?
LD DaggerHeartz someone needs to take a chill pill. XD
killerfrenchy Dude. I'm not mad. xD
I am a classical musician and strangely enough I don't mind listening to heavy metal at all. The energy in heavy metal music is awesomely intense it's somewhat inspiring for me as a musician.
ionot I don't mind metal. What I do mind is the way they freaking dress, there terrible voices and, Slipknot.
ionot I'm really into power metal for the reason that 1) It has fantastic energy and 2) I can understand what they are saying.
stev019 Care to share some bands that you do enjoy? I'm not bashing or anything, just looking for some pointers. I myself do like Slipknot, but I also enjoy exploring other groups.
a999op Corey Taylor has one of the most melodic voices, something you would probably know if you listened to their more mainstream songs.
ionot I produce electronic music and I too enjoy listening to metal and stuff like that sometimes.
I'm a diehard Slipknot fan and people say I'm one of the sweetest and kindest people
Slipknot is 70% of my playlist and I cry when dogs die in movies
music =/= person
I'm just like you albeit older, but I'm also the good quiet kid. I listen to all slipknot stuff, and I think a lot of it comes down to the fact that I get to appreciate the music since I play guitar and drums
Same
Same here my guy
I love how people say metal music is evil but if you ever meet a metal fan there like the nicest people
"Gang members" I want to see a gang who looks like slipknot now
Insane clown posse. Duh.. didnt u hear the good sir in the video?
Actually a lot. Me and my friends love slipknot and most heavy metal. There was plenty of gang members, especially those of us that were in predominantly white gangs, mostly on the north side of Chicago that love this music. I mean, none of us are active gang members anymore. Most of us are grown up and have families and great lives. I'm still a dedicated Maggot and almost 40 now.
Lucii especially but just search uk drill
When he said people who are into drugs I just sat there like....but Im like supper sober
itz layzah Yeah but there might be truth to that. Just cuz ur not into drugs doesn’t mean drug addicts aren’t more attracted to types of music that are more outrageous and express an element of anger or shock or whatever due to their own lives usually being pretty difficult.
teens react to cannibal corpse
Kevin Nathaniel noooo thank u
Kids react to Extermination Dismemberment
Omg yes.
i cant image that. LOL xD
Kids react to Dimmu Borgir
I’m glad they pulled up that statistic about metal music listeners being more aligned with classical music listeners. Like what did you think, that classical music was gonna line up better with pop, rap, or something else. Nah man, instrumentation is key.
Yea im both a classical and metal musician and the genres are pretty similar. Imagine disasterpiece or heretic anthem in a instrumental classical cover. Its ment to bring emotion out. Metal helps release anger while classical is to make you feel tense for some and relaxed for some. Classical is more of a diverse version of metal imo
Nice profile pic
Some old guy: "This is just noise!"
Yep, thats all music man.
