Hansel and Gretel:
This well-known story of two children abandoned in the forest and triumphing over a witch. Based on a story from Hesse, Germany collected by Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm. Illustrated by Richard Hook and narrated by Susannah York.
WHAT IS STORY TELLER?
Story Teller was a series of magazines published by Marshall Cavendish from December 1982 and throughout 1983 as a fortnightly part-work. Each magazine contained a selection of children's stories from traditional folk tales to contemporary works written especially for the series. It also included poems.
The stories were accompanied by lavish colour artwork and an audio cassette tape featuring music, sound effects and narration by professional actors and celebrities of the time, including Richard Briers, Sheila Hancock, Derek Jacobi, and Nigel Lambert.

I think that’s in ST1 Part 25 which is quite a way off yet. I’m working on Part 10 at the moment and working sequentially. Sorry, but it won’t be soon. If I could go faster I would.

Hansel and Gretel are siblings who live in the woods with their father a woodcutter and an evil stepmother. The stepmother convinces the father to get rid of their children deep in the woods. The children find themselves lost in the woods and are faced with a witch who plans to eat them. Tricking her into looking into the oven, the children push her in and escape the woods.
